Dog-friendly cabin w/ private hot tub - perfect for a relaxing escape!
Show your special someone just how much they mean to you with a romantic retreat to Washington's Whidbey Island! Secluded in 25 acres of gorgeous natural surroundings and featuring a private hot tub, this dog-friendly log cabin is just what you need for your next vacation for two!
Just south of the tiny town of Greenbank, your rental is just a short distance from essentials at Greenbank Store, while back at home, you can marvel at the swaying pine trees of the surrounding property (there are four other cabins nearby).
Inside, wooden floors, walls, and ceiling beams, along with stonework surrounding the fireplace and historic photographs, give the cabin a rustic, low-key atmosphere. Kick back on an armchair or snuggle up with your sweetheart on the couch as you take in cable on the TV or watch the crackling fire.
The cozy kitchen has all the modern appliances and wooden cabinetry you need to whip up a romantic dinner. Set the table for two and afterwards, thanks to the dishwasher, cleaning up is quick and easy.
Two guests can stay in this one-bedroom cabin, with a plush king-size bed complete with lovely bedside tables and a stained-glass window. Wake up and shower (or enjoy a decadent bubble bath!) in the bathroom before waking your sweetheart up with some coffee.
Small, isolated beaches make Whidbey Island a great place for spending time as a couple, but don't spend so much time by the sea that you forget about the nearby destinations worth visiting!
The quirky community of Freeland is just seven miles south, while the hustle and bustle of Coupeville is only 12 miles north. If you really want to take your getaway to the next level, head another 30 miles to Anacortes, where you can explore the San Juan Islands and Victoria, Canada!
Don't delay - place your reservation today and show the person you love the most an unforgettable experience! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

Incredible accommodations. Perfect location. Gorgeous trails to traverse and incredible dining nearby in remote towns. We are definitely coming back!

If you like bringing your own food/firewood and just hanging out watching moving, fixing a snack, going for a walk thru the woods or on miles of sandy beach (after a short car ride) then this is your place. Prices seem to have gone up though I think as while I have stayed at 'Kentucky' previously this is the first time at the 'Tennesee' - both cabins accept dogs which is wonderful!

Absolutely perfect getaway cabin. Went above any expectations I had. Place was clean very private and extremely comforting. Bed was very comfortable, had everything in the cabin I would need, the Jacuzzi bathtub was a vacation in itself. The whole process was easy. Loved the privacy of the forest surrounding it and all the birds, deer, and squirrels. Everybody on the island was extremely friendly, enjoyed Langley, the Earth meditative walk, the gardens there in GreenBank. Food was awesome, plan on coming back late summer early fall. Would recommend this to anybody. Island is super pet friendly. Plan on bringing my dogs next time.

Very cozy cabin in the woods. Perfect weekend getaway with my spouse and our small dog. We brought a couple of duraflame logs for the fireplace and groceries to make a few meals. The kit was well stocked with plates, cups, pots, pans, and utensils. Plenty of hand towels, bath towels, and towels for the hot tub. The cabin is located in a dense woodsy area. Even though there were a few other cabins on the property they are not close together with lots of space and trees between them, providing The home with a nice feeling of privacy and seclusion. The hot tub and WiFi both worked great. The smart tv in the living room took just a few steps to connect to the WiFi, but then provided full access to Netflix and YouTube.
Just a few small nitpicks: the bed sheets were a little rough, the skylight directly over the bed got a little bright in the morning, the living room couch was just a bit worn, and the cleaning team overlooked a few cobwebs. No deal breakers for us though, we would happily book this cabin again!
Thank you for providing feedback, Judson. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement, and we'll schedule the home for deep cleaning and also share your comments with the owner for consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Loved the hot tub! Loved the comforter! Loved the fireplace and the wood that was left (only enough for one night but there was a duraflame log, which was quite thoughtful).
The signage on the property doesn’t match what’s on any of the communications (Pine cottage... on here it says Tennessee cabin or #8, which we found very confusing). Also, there was WiFi listed and when we arrived, and for our whole visit, there was no WiFi. When we looked in the guest book the previous visitors said it went out in the wind. We were pretty frustrated by this as well, since we’re city folk.
Overall, a beautiful property and a cozy cabin.

We got engaged in the beautiful cabin in front of the river rock fireplace! It was perfect! The space is cozy and well equipped with everything. Groceries, firewood, and someone to share it with is all you need! Definitely going back

My husband, myself and two dogs stayed in the Tennessee cabin for three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, affording us with serenity and the beauty of nature all around us. We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub, fireplace, Kind sized bed and hot tub. It was also heart warming to read the journal entries of those who stayed before us! The local attractions we decided to check out were all within a reasonable driving distance We will definitely be back!

We had an awesome weekend here. great secluded cabin. very quiet and nice. exactly what we expected, cute log cabin in the woods. we had an issue with hot tub because we pushed buttons and er called and someone was there within the hour fixing it and was amazing the rest of the stay.

This is gorgeous setting, nice and quiet. But the whole canin smells like mold/mildew. We went and bought lavender to cover smell. Then had a problem with extreme exhaustion any time we were inside the cabin. Discovered it qas.due.to the mildew and lavender. Also hit tub was filthy with sand and pine needles.
Thank you for taking the time to share with us your thoughts about your most recent stay in one of our log cabins. We are sorry to hear it was less than a stellar experience. Our guest service (and local operations) team are here to assist you 24/7 should you encounter any issues during your stay. The combination of the age of the building and the heavily forested areas around the cabin can certainly make for unusual smells. Be assured the homes are cleaned after each and every guest, including freshly laundered sheets and towels. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us as it allows us to be aware of issues that may exist and an opportunity to provide better service.

Had a great weekend getaway staying in the Tennessee cabin! We loved the rustic cabin feel and beautiful forest that surrounded it! The hot tub is a definite bonus as well!

We absolutely loved our stay in this very quaint one bedroom cabin and yet felt spacious! The bed was amazingly comfortable and we spent time in the hot tub in the eve! Was very private, cozy and clean and saw a beautiful eagle in the AM by the pond! Had bullfrogs singing us to sleep at night!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Cute little cabin with nice hot tub and cozy fire place!(bring firewood) Lots of beaches not to far away from here too! Loved reading all the stories in the notebooks dating back to 1989.💕

Our stay was fantastic! We were looking for a secluded, quiet, woodsy, get away and that’s exactly what we got! Perfect size for 2.

The cabin was wonderful. Beautiful setting, loved the hot tub in the woods. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The fireplace was a wonderful addition to the weekend. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a magical time; very romantic weekend. Everything was perfect, even the weather. The cabin was incredibly comfy, homey, and we had everything we needed. The hot tube was delightful. And it was so nice to have the furbaby come with us. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and can't wait to go back.

We were really looking forward to a comfortable stay, but were sadly disappointed. ‘Rustic’ ambiance is welcome; a happy/broken-down furnishings are not.
The 1991 sofa & chair were in ridiculously bad condition; the sofa was reinforced with yards of duct tape under the cushions and the chair literally listed 20-degrees to the left! It was unusable, leaving just the horribly uncomfortable sofa for seating.
The bed offered no relief either. The mattress was really unsupportive and we woke up with aching backs both mornings. We’re in our 30s....can’t imagine staying here comfortably in our 40s or beyond!
Additionally, the toaster oven didn’t heat at all, the jets in the bathtub were covered with hair & grime, and there were no paper towels for the paper towel holder.
The main safety issue is the lack of exterior lighting!
No lights off the main road, none off the interior road by the gate. No exterior lighting on the wooded road into the cabin area. We arrived after sunset and had to get out of our vehicle to use a flashlight to find the edges of the parking area!
Another issue: there’s no path from the house to the hot tub. That means you’ve either got to wear your shoes out there and leave them out in the weather (and get into them dripping wet!) OR go out barefoot & get muddy/step on stuff in the dark.
Even just some simple pavers would suffice here.
Pros: Decent cell reception, hot tub was nice & warm, and the interior was pretty clean. The fireplace is wonderful.
We want to thank this guest for taking the time to post this review. We would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience they may have experienced. Please be assured that we have followed up with an inspection to address the furniture condition in the living room, as well as the toaster over. We have taken the observation of the jetted tub and shared it with our housekeeping team as a training opportunity.

Great for a romantic getaway. Hot tub, large jacuzzi tub, well appointed kitchen, wifi, fireplace, and decent seclusion will make this a place we will return to. The couch and recliner are ancient and very uncomfortable, but the bed was good.
Alichia L.Nov 2017
We payed a little more money just to have the cabin with the hot tub, but since it wasn't getting very warm we didn't use it. We only stayed for a couple days, so we just used the jacuzzi while we were there. It was a waste to pay extra when we didn't even use the hot tub.

Beautiful, cozy, in the woods, but close to local amenities.

The Tennessee cottage was so charming and it was wonderful spending some time there. The amenities are perfect. There was everything we could have needed for our two-night getaway. Definitely take advantage of the jacuzzi! Everything was very well kept and clean. We were really happy with the whole experience and can't wait to come back!

Over all pleasant, but recognize this is a rustic cabin. TV appears to be from the 90s, but that was not what we went there for. The frogs at night were vey peaceful. Kitchen was functional and reasonably well appointed for VRBO, and the new gas grill worked great.
Renee G.May 2017
With the exception of a couple things, this was an amazing weekend getaway for my husband and I. The Tennessee cottage was adorable and just right for the two of us. The jacuzzi tub was amazing and having a fireplace was a delight. We will definitely be back in the future.
