Sprawling watefront home with breathtaking ocean views and secluded atmosphere!

Your next group retreat or family reunion deserves something special and this Marrowstone Island manor home is ready to deliver! Stunning ocean views, an elegant, secluded atmosphere, and plenty of room all make this spacious home ideal for your next group getaway!

This amazing home for eight is just four miles south of the town of Nordland, providing easy access to supplies at the quaint general store, while still immersing you with the peaceful beauty of Washington's Olympic Peninsula. Towering pines sway invitingly in the wind to the west, while the spacious deck sits atop a bluff with an unobstructed view of the sea. You even have access to a small beach below!

Wood floors and ceiling beams, high-quality materials throughout, and bright, warm colors give this home a welcoming, yet elegant, atmosphere. The main living area goes even further, with unique, brightly-colored lights hanging from the ceiling - though the wall of windows provides plenty of natural lighting, along with more of the ocean views. There's a telescope for watching seagulls dive for fish on sunny days, but don't worry if the skies aren't clear, just snuggle up on the sectional sofa by the fireplace, or head to the second living area with a leather sectional and flatscreen cable TV.

Cooking for eight people can be challenging, but luckily, the kitchen is fully equipped for the job. Stainless steel appliances, along with spacious granite countertops, give you everything you need to whip up a feast. Several tables on the deck and throughout the home make it easy for massive family dinners or more intimate, casual dining - and don't forget about the dishwasher for cleanup!

Five bedrooms on the upper and lower levels allow a maximum of eight guests to stay at once. The master bedroom has a king-size bed for you and your sweetheart, with three bedrooms offering queen-size beds and the final bedroom boasting two twins for the kids. Two full bathrooms, along with a half-bathroom and a private washer/dryer, make it easy to get refreshed and ready to explore.

Use the WiFi to plan an incredible day out for your group. Liplip Point is just a few minutes away on foot, letting you enjoy a different angle on the same oceanfront view. The tiny town of Nordland is just a short drive north, while Indian Island's scenic views of the Kilisut Harbor are just to the west.

A good set up for a big family. Very private location as well as a very private beach. Definitely worth the hike down the stairs to the beach.

This house was an excellent venue for our family celebration of a 60th wedding. Lots of space on different levels so no one felt isolated during the event. Beautiful view with large deck for outside entertaining.

Ten of us spent a long weekend here. We loved it. Great views ~ we even saw Mt. Rainier one morning and had two Bald Eagles to kept us company. Plan on going back next year.

We used this house for a women's retreat and it was perfect! There are a lot of common spaces but plenty of quiet spots to get away to if desired. The access to the beach was a real bonus! As mentioned by other visitors, the light switches were a problem and we never did figure out how to turn on the overhead light in the dining room. There was also a service call scheduled during our stay which I felt was inappropriate as the house was empty all week before our stay. But these were minor issues and we were thrilled with the house overall.

Fabulous manor house with million dollar views.

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. The home was perfect for our needs and the view is incredible. There are a few quirky things such as discovering which light switch turns on which light. It all added to the charm of being there over Thanksgiving with family. The intense rain was nice enough to hold off whenever we planned our outdoor trips to Fort Flagler and Port Townsend. Overall very much enjoyed our stay!

toddlers had fun keeping away from adults. Sent message to Vacasa LLC to review maintenance issues.

The size and layout of this house was everything we could have hoped for and suited our extended family long weekend. There were some minor issues with the house -- no dish cloths & minor leak due to extreme weather conditions -- but the responsiveness of Lisa and her staff when we informed them was outstanding. We went well equipped with kitchen supplies and would advise anyone who likes to cook to do the same. We'd rent this house again in a heartbeat!
There is some updating going to happen at this home and then it will be perfect.

We stayed for a very stormy weekend and the house location the view, and the huge windows were an excellent place to enjoy the storm. The house was huge and comfortably fit several couples with room for more. I could see how the many steps could cause some stumbles for children, but we were very happy over all. The location is great and we visited all of the cideries in the Chimicum/PT area within 20 Min drive. The house is very private without neighbors very close. Cupboards were stocked with a great selection of dishes and pots and pans. This house was great for our kid-free weekend.

We had 13 family members for a close-by wedding. The facilities have some age issues, but the spaciousness of the house worked pretty well for our large group. The large deck was especially nice when we had good weather.

The view is gorgeous. The house feels very private. The kitchen is amazing; large and well supplied.

There are too many light switches to figure out. Also not toddler friendly (no bathtub and lots of step up and downs).

The views from the home are spectacular. We saw eagles flying around the property every day. The house is large and had more than enough room for eight adults to spread out. The beds were very comfortable. That being said, there are some downfalls to this property. Some of the blinds for the windows were missing or broken and the rooms upstairs get very hot in the morning when the sun is out. There isn't any central AC. We could not get the fan in the master bedroom to work because the remote for it wouldn't turn it on. There are many light switches throughout the house, some of which that don't turn any lights on or off. The fireplaces stopped working after our first day there. Only four of the six burners on the stove worked. Our hot water heater stopped working one day and although we got it working again, it delayed us all getting ready that day. The dishwasher is very complicated and hard to use. There are many stairs throughout the property so if you have issues with walking up or down stairs, you may have difficulties with this property. Overall though, we loved our stay and would love to return some day.
Manager response:
We are delighted to hear this guest would love to return! The owner and general manager are aware of the issues mentioned in this review. Discussions are currently underway regarding this home. Thanks!

Great house for multiple people. The deck is great for entertaining and the home is big enough for everyone to have a bit of space. We loved the built in bar, and that the kitchen was large enough for a handful of people to help with meals.

Our stay at Marrowstone was one of our favorite so far. The locations is gorgeous and the house very secluded and private. The home is contemporary and comfortable, with a view from almost any seat! From the labels on the kitchen cabinets to the vast array of pots and pans, my husband enjoyed using the kitchen. To our pleasant surprise, there is a backup power source in the yard that came on automatically when we lost power during a windstorm!! Huge bonus!! We will be back to Marrowstone, and soon!

Bring your own high quality optics for distant viewing because the ones provided are very poor quality.

Another hidden Washington beauty, and sweet spot to enjoy it.
