You will have a difficult time finding a more magnificent view than from this gorgeous three-bedroom Black Butte vacation home! With access to the resort's recreation amenities including pools, hot tubs, tennis, and more, family trips to this retreat are full of activity and relaxation.

Black Butte Ranch is a resort community 32 miles north of Bend, and about nine miles from Sisters.

This beautiful Northwest contemporary retreat has all the conveniences of home. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two fireplaces, an eclectic collection of framed wall art add luxurious touches that you'll enjoy during your stay.

The main level offers a sunken living room with tall ceilings, large windows, and wonderful wood-burning fireplace. The new large plasma flat screen TV (without cable) has a DVD player, and a small DVD library just waiting for all of your entertainment needs. There is WiFi throughout. Or you may just find the best entertainment is relaxing on the comfy seat cushions, while looking out the wall of windows, and enjoying morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The kitchen and dining room have dazzling hardwood floors and more windows looking out into the trees and meadow. There's a wood stove in the dining room for both ambiance and warmth, and table seating for four. Right nearby in the kitchen, there are extra stools at the breakfast bar and plenty of counter space for whipping up delicious vacation meals. A skylight lets in a lot of natural light, and besides all of the usual gadgets, there's also a blender and coffee grinder for your use.

A glass door leads out to the large deck overlooks the natural spring and provides tranquil sounds of water below, with Black Butte's meadow stretching out into the distance. The gas barbecue is all ready for your cook-outs and al fresco dining. In the afternoon, it's also the perfect spot to put your feet up and get into a good book.

The main level has a lovely master bedroom - with a queen bed and en suite bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower, it's quite a peaceful and relaxing spot. The lucky recipient of this room will also be treated to amazing views right off the deck. This level has a second bedroom with a queen bed.

Upstairs, there is another queen bedroom, a reading room with cozy, overstuffed chairs, and an adjoining sitting room with a twin bed. The upstairs is ideal for family members or a couple with small children that want to share a more private area of the house. The views out to the Butte and over the meadow are spectacular. With its three bedrooms and loft, this home will sleep seven guests comfortably; the provided washer/dryer make it easy to keep packing light.

Outside, there's a wonderful yard to discover, a free-standing porch swing, and lots of space for the kids to play.

Beyond the yard, Black Butte Ranch offers outdoor adventures for everyone in your group. In the winter, you can make the short 20 minute drive to Sisters and Hoodoo Ski area for downhill sporting at its best. The surrounding National Forest land has many trails for both cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in the winter, as well as hiking and biking in the summer.

A couple of white water rafting outfitters have pick-up and drop off service at the Rec Barn at Black Butte Ranch. Plan a family adventure they won't soon forget with a fun-filled half day McKenzie or Deschutes River trip. Black Butte Resort also has two golf courses, tennis courts, horseback riding, and five swimming pools. You will definitely have no problem finding something to do here!

On days that you don't feel like cooking, you can head to the Lodge Restaurant for fine dining, or to Robert's Pub for casual plates. For even more options, visit the cute western-style shops and cafes in Sisters, and Bend's popular breweries and restaurants are a mere 45 minutes from your door.

Come to Black Butte Ranch and enjoy this Central Oregon vacation home's bright spaces, shiny hardwood floors, and fabulous deck for entertaining and enjoy all that this resort community offers in style.

**At check-in, please be aware that the resort will collect an $9 daily fee for every guest 7 years and older for access. Unfortunately, no motorcycles are permitted within the ranch or on any of the Black Butte properties.*

The house has beautiful construction and is very well appointed with everything we needed, and then some (think ice cream maker and a whole cabinet full of board games!). We loved watching the wildlife from the deck. It's obvious that the owners put a lot of effort into making this a home, not just a rental.
My only quip is that in the information binder it listed a Vacasa contact number. When we called to request firewood, the number did not work. When I reached Vacasa through the main office and then was transferred to the local contact, I was told that Vacasa did not provide firewood, even though the information sheet stated that it does and had Vacasa letterhead on it.
Manager response:
We apologize that there was some out of date information in the binder for this guests stay. Vacasa no longer provides firewood at this location, and the binder is being updated to reflect that change. Thank you!

This is a very nice place, easy, accessible and a great launch pad to visit area sights and activities. Everything was perfect at the house save one item. There was no firewood. With that said, I will certainly return.

Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bend for Easter weekend. The house was light and bright with a beautiful view of Black Butte and the horse pasture. Very cozy, well maintained and tastefully furnished with plenty of amenities. Thank you for the Wonderfull Staycation!

House was beautiful and clean, with great character. Loved the great linens and beds with Pendleton touches, and the great view while enjoying a toasty fire in the fireplace. Plenty of room for our family to sprawl, and kitchen and deck was perfect for all our home cookin' and grillin'! So nice to have a washer and dryer too, as we tromped around in the snow and got dirty. We will be back.

Wonderful Home with wonderful views! Will definitely be back!

Huge windows. Well furnished cozy. We were there during off season. Seemed to have the whole place to ourselves!

We extended a stay in Central Oregon and really enjoyed this home.

The home and it's secluded location are awesome. Bring bikes if you have them as just s lovely area to enjoy leisurely. We loved watching the horses in the meadow below as we ate breakfast. The home was nicer than pictured and would really like to go back for a longer stay. The drive way is a bit challenging. We decided to back in which made getting out much easier.

Nicely furnished home in a beautiful setting with a great view of Big Meadow and Black Butte itself. Our third year here.
Amelie A. Aug 2017
The home itself was beautiful. Looks like it was built very well in the 80s. Location was great, with a view of Black Butte and the meadows. Amenities were fine. Kitchen was pretty outdated, but worked. Well-stocked for a rental.
One pretty big issue we saw was the deck, especially the lower deck. It is getting older and the railing isn't stable. We had kids with us, as well as a cousin with disabilities, so we closed off the bottom deck for safety reasons. The beams supporting it underneath also look like they are wearing. If we owned this house and rented it out, I wouldn't feel comfortable renting it further until this is fixed and updated. This lower deck is one of the main features, as well as where we actually wanted to spend our time with the great views of Black Butte, so we were pretty disappointed that this didn't feel stable.

Great stay at the Hilltop Getaway for the 2nd year in a row! The view of BB Mtn and the horses in the pasture is special, the walls of 30+ windows in the living room keep you connected to the outdoors at all times, coffee in the adirondack chairs across multiple decks, and meals at the teak outdoor table were a treat. The outdoor swing and the new hammock both with great views were homeruns with the kids! We look forward to coming back!

We have never been to Black Butte.
I would stay in house again.
Sisters Rodeo was happening that weekend.
Town was full.
We just stayed at BB.
It was good.

A great home for a couple and/or family. Light, bright and inviting with a wonderful view.

Loved it. PERFECT location on the ranch!!

We've been coming to Black Butte for many years, and this is one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. It has a great lay-out for two couples, super location and views, and really nice amenities.

I stayed at this house over NYE weekend with some friends. We had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the view from the living room and the fireplace. Everything was comfortable and clean and the kitchen is stocked with all sorts of appliances. The location was close to skiing, snowshoeing, Sisters/Bend and we took full advantage of that. We all would recommend this home.

We had a wonderful time here in the snow.
Lovely views from every window, great layout of the house, open, yet comfy - felt very much at home, We now plan on coming back here in summer!

We have stayed in this home several times and highly recommend it!

Loved our weekend getaway at this space. Beautiful view of the horses grazing in the meadow in the distance. Very private, quality home, comfortable beds, clean, beautiful interior and exterior. Would stay here again if available.
Daniel M. Oct 2016
House was great and view was amazing. Would definitely stay here again. Furniture was comfortable, house was clean, cable television (good channel selection) and wifi were great.

Only issue was no garage access so stowing strollers and bikes were difficult and driveway was long a not the easiest to back out of with my truck. However, these were only minor inconveniences in regard to the house.

Will definitely stay here again.

A lovely home for your family. Centrally located with beautiful views.
Brenda B. Aug 2016
Wonderful place to stay; perfect for our family which included several grandkids. Great lay-out, super kitchen. Would like a few more deck chairs but all-in-all, loved this place!
Jennifer P. Jul 2016
The location of this home is beautiful, with stunning views and peaceful privacy from the decks. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware, tools, everything else we needed to cook for the family during our stay. Very comfortable home to stay in, perfect set up for our two family vacation with small children.

We arrived for a wedding in Sisters to stay for a long weekend with our one year old, and the house was very unclean. There were cobwebs in all the windows and ceilings, dead bugs on the floor around the perimeter of living room, dusty window sills and surfaces. The house was also infested with sugar ants. We could not set our baby down as each time we did, he was covered in ants. We also tried calling Vacasa on arrival to ask about renting a high chair or baby gate and were told we would get a call back later that day. No one ever called back over the 5 day period so he ate each meal on our lap. I called Vacasa to discuss the dirty home and ant infestation very nicely and calmly. They offered to have a manager get in touch via email after we checked out, and they may be able to do a partial refund. I've emailed daily for 7 days, and called, and no one will respond. This was not worth the money, and was not an enjoyable stay, and I do not appreciate the lack of customer service. I'm not sure we will rent with Vacasa again. I'm usually a very positive, calm person, and let things slide off my back, but this was bad and needs to be addressed.

Great home, and everything was as expected. We would stay here again. Very nice property, and well taken care of.
Carol D. Feb 2016
Our favorite part of our stay here was the view from the kitchen and living room. This has to be one of the best places for that. It's about equal distance from the community center and the check-in/store, so that was handy. Having to walk down steps from where you park to the house might be a problem for some. Beds were comfortable. There is no bathroom upstairs, so a person sleeping up must come down for that. Could be a problem for some.

We have season ski passes and spend a lot of time traveling to central Oregon with our children. This was our first time to rent from Vacasa. The home was nice with a beautiful view of Black Butte. However, upon arrival we found the kitchen garbage gull of the last guests debris. The refrigerator was also dirty inside with a sticky mess, so we had to clean it out before putting our food inside. Those things were irritating as you would expect a home to be clean. The thing that was most upsetting were the ants. They were all over the kitchen counters, crawling up the walls, and even on the living room floor. We had to be super careful with where we put our food and were always nervous that there could be ants in our meal. This was a very disappointing stay, and we will think twice before using this service again.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share a review. We apologize that the home was not appropriately cleaned prior to your stay and that ants were a problem. We will take care of the ants the best we can and follow-up with housekeeping regarding the cleanliness. We hope you had a delightful time in the area!

Despite some inconveniences, our overall stay was very enjoyable. The home was an exciting place to stay in the holiday season.
Mary F. Nov 2015
Perfect way for us Nebraska grandparents to "host" our son and his sweet family who live in Portland for Thanksgiving weekend in the Cascades.
John D. Nov 2015
Our family has visited Black Butte for 20+ years. This is our favorite place and has become our regular rental home. We love it!
Karen F. Sep 2015
My husband and I stayed four nights in this well appointed home. The art work and furnishings were lovely, impressive for a vacation rental home. I think the description of the upstairs bedroom might be a bit of a stretch since it is more of a loft room, open to the great room downstairs, and the little "room" adjacent is more of a little space shaped by the slant of the roof. Might be great for a little kid. The kitchen was very well equipped. Though not a huge inconvenience, the property is almost exactly opposite from the main lodge and entry/exit gate. The food at the "Ranch" was excellent. We ate at the new Lakeside Bistro and Robert's Pub. Overall we would give this Vacasa casa a great rating!
Michele R. Aug 2015
Wonderful home. We had a great time. The house was clean, had all the necessities we needed to cook meals, plenty of towels, blankets, etc. The home is furnished very well, great western flair! We loved it. Could wake up to the view of the mountains and horses everyday!
Robert E. Aug 2015
This has been one of our families most memorable and enjoyable vacations. The kids (13, 10, 6) all took advantage of what Black Butte Ranch had to offer as well as the surrounding area. Couldn't fit it all in. The house provided us a great home base to rejuvenate and get back at it the following day. Very comfortable and spacious. Loved it all. We will be back!
John D. Nov 2014
I almost didn't write a review because I don't want this GEM to fill up all the time. Best property we have stayed at at BBR, and our family has been travelling there for 20 years.
Tom H. Aug 2014
This house has an amazing view of the Big Meadow and Black Butte from the family room, kitchen, master bedroom and large deck. In addition to several days of blue sky and sunshine , we enjoyed the opportunity to watch a spectacular lightning storm from the hilltop vantage point. We also took full advantage of the deck furniture as we ate most of our meals outside. Although many of the interior finishes in this home are dated (lots of golden oak and late 80s/early-90s colors), it has a nice layout and plenty of natural light. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the family room and bedrooms have newer TVs. The wireless Internet access also is a plus. It is somewhat inconvenient to be unable to access the garage for bike storage. Overall, we had a fabulous vacation at this house and would recommend it to our family and friends.
Manager response:
Thank you for this great review. Were glad you were able to enjoy this home and the great deck and views. We look forward to seeing you again!
