Loved the location. Unfortunately we had to rewash dishes before using them and one shower didn’t work.
Manager response:
We apologize for any unwashed dishes - this does happen at times due to guests being responsible for their own dishes. Maintenance will inspect the shower. Thank you, Shawn!

The Solitude Village is nice, with the slopes, the one apres-ski bar, two restaurants, and pool & hot tub all a trivial short walk away. This unit is pleasant enough and a good price. Minor issues: The coffee maker was missing its pot, and the place could use a wooden cutting board and a humidifier for those of us not acclimated to super-dry high-altitude air.

This unit beneath most standards. There are several fire hazards within the unit with regard to the wiring of the TVs and garbage disposal in particular. I also could not bolt the front door so safety was an issue. Kitchen is not stocked well with decent pot/pans, no useful bowls for food prep/storage, etc. Heater in not adjustable in kids room. Overall felt very dirty and not well kept. Every closet was stuffed with junk and or extra bedding just thrown in and stacked to the top of the closet. VCR and old electronics with too many remotes in each room and very difficult to use them. No washer and dryer in unit, but there is a shared one down the hall. No notes from owner as to how to use the ski locker downstairs so I had to call. BTW this is my fourth rental in Solitude and this unit is well below normal standards. Absolutely not worth the money, stay in another unit for the same price and get much more for your money.
Manager response:
We are disappointed to see this guest did not have a better experience while staying here. We wish they would have contacted us for assistance as there are several items in this review that could have been immediately addressed. We do provide clear ski locker instructions in the guest check-in email, and the TVs and heater were found working during inspections before and after this stay. The coffee maker has been replaced, the dead bolt has been tightened, a surge protector has been put in place for TV wiring, and we have followed-up with housekeeping about the dust. The owner does plan on upgrading the TVs and bedding during their next visit, and a new toaster oven will also soon be in place. Thank you!

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The only complaint I have is that the pool was closed for maintenance during our entire stay and there was no indication of this during booking. The pool is what my kids were looking forward to the most, so that was quite a let down. Aside from this, we were very happy with our stay. The condo was clean and well taken care of. Very nice place to stay.
