Biggest issue with home is smell of dead rodents as soon as you walk in/flies on 1st floor. The outdated bathroom was less than desired. Bedding was very worn. Definitely not a warm and cozy place as described. Driveway was dangerous to get in/out of ..space for only 1 car. The view is the only thing we liked about home.. unfortunately we did not get to see it much as we spent our time outside of the house as it was not comfortable to be in. Outside area also less inviting.

House was great. Good location. Minor ant problem in the kitchen which we sprayed and it went away. But overall very clean for an older house.

This was my first time renting a property through Vacasa. I found the property on Airbnb and was dismayed at the service charges. Then, I went straight to the Vacasa site and was able to save on the Airbnb charges. As it was my first time booking through Vacasa, I was nervous about whether the property was going to be as described. The property was excellent, as was the communication from my Vacasa representative. I was extremely pleased with the rental.

This is a quaint and funky older farmhouse type home sitting on a nice knoll with great views of the harbor at Boothbay... the driveway is a bit steep but manageable. All the rooms have a different character and everything functioned well. If you like places to stay that have character... this is it. I personally do not like to stay on the coast in anything modern and coldly designed. The owners here have it fixed up very personally... and we felt like we were watching a friend's house while they were away... Everything was great. It is a little further from the downtown then expected... but that turned out to be just fine.
