It was definitely rustic and very dated. There's carpet in the bathroom and kitchen which freaks me out a bit. The deck and grill were the highlights.
Manager response:
We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the deck and the outdoor grill, Danielle! We apologize that you found the home to be dated. We do take accurate pictures of all of the rooms in the home so our guests are able to set their expectations appropriately before their stay. We appreciate your feedback!

Cozy little place nearby to gas stations, fast food and markets. It was a perfect fit for our girl cousin's getaway.
My only complaint would be the tiny shower and the stove. But the price was great. I may stay here again in the future.

No cable the first night until 12 noon the next day. Repair guy couldn’t come while we were in the home, good thing I didn’t bring my dog after all
Don’t expect compensation for either, but the repair man for the cable was super pleasant every time he called.., thank you Keith
Shower was super small an first user got all the hot water
Otherwise it served our purpose, it was in a very quiet neighborhood an my husband even had a nice conversation with the neighbor

The home is not only cozy inside but has this serene feel with all the trees and plants surrounding the property. I was able to relax and write while feeling the sounds of nature all around. The home itself was like a timewarp, I loved all the old knick nacks and little written pieces on the walls collected over time. It truly felt like I was in a different time and era, which was very inspiring and allowed my pen to easily flow. I would most defiantly reccomend this place to anyone who loves to embrace pieces of history and is in need for a peaceful getaway in nature.

the House is really big! Very good for having friends together. It’s location is very good, it is possible to go to stores and restaurants by walking. I truly recommend

Ok If you don’t mind sparing a little quality for a decent but nostalgic experience of old cabin living with modern day conveniences. Good enough to go back to thanks to the spaciousness and conveniences provided, location, supplies provided in kitchen and bathroom, & friendly staff.

Right in the middle of town and the lake down the street and The Village but still has privacy and very quiet area. The cabin is very cozy inside and loved our stay.

If you are looking for a peaceful weekend with only a mere drive to the lake, an old school setting in the cabin, and beautiful scenery then this is the place.

Has all amenities you would need for your stay. It's carpeted THROUGHOUT the cottage, kitchen & bathroom included so a little quirky, but we enjoyed ourselves. Lots of decorations to look at and VERY kid friendly w the exception of the gas oven. I enjoyed cooking on it, but its not for everyone, have to light the oven & stove yourself.
