Dog-friendly modern cabin, close to skiing, hiking, and water adventures!

Leave your worries and stress behind and surround yourself with the beauty of the towering pines when you book your next trip to this dog-friendly Sugarloaf cabin. With a location that puts you close to tons of alpine adventures and an inviting style, this is the perfect spot to get away from it all!

Set just seven miles from the Bear Mountain Ski Resort and three miles from the heart of Big Bear, you'll have the added amenities of a quiet neighborhood while being close to the action. During the winter months, we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle to access the home safely.

The cozy ambiance of this home sets the tone for a hassle-free stay. As you step past the rustic-chic porch and into the surprisingly spacious main living area, you'll be greeted a by the wood-beamed ceilings and crafted accents throughout. Turn on some music on the stereo or check out what's on cable on the flatscreen TV.

Grab a brew or two and step out onto the patio to relax in the cool mountain air. Use the WiFi to check the local fishing or snow reports before you get to work on a tasty side dish for dinner on the gas grill.

Back inside, the fully-equipped kitchen features an extra large refrigerator, stainless steel appliances, and open style to maximize space. After dinner, make a quick bowl of popcorn in the microwave, and then put in your favorite DVD for a quiet movie night at home. Break out the board games to fill the home with laughter.

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home will host up to six guests and two well-behaved canine companions (for a small nightly fee). Both bedrooms feature soft queen-size beds that will whisk you away to a restful night of sleep, and there's a sofabed in the living room to accommodate the last guests.

Wake up with a light breakfast before you head out to shred the fresh powder at Bear Mountain Resort. Offering plenty of downhill runs for all skill levels, everyone will be able to have some fun. Snowboarders will love the easy access to Snow Summit so they can try out a few new tricks at the terrain park.

When the weather is warmer, book a tee time at the Bear Mountain Golf Course, or rent a boat to get out on the lake. Cast a line or two, or kick it into high gear and do a bit of inner-tubing and water skiing. Give your chef a night off and head out to a mouthwatering meal at the local favorite La Paws.

Give yourself the gift of alpine adventures, scenic hikes, and a stress-free stay when you book your getaway to this Southern Californian cottage. A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

Great place

Perfectly ok cabin for its price point spoiled by terrible beds. We left a day early because we literally could not sleep on the beds.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Charles. We understand that sleeping preferences vary widely and we are sorry to hear that the bed was not well-suited to your sleep preference. We will certainly keep your comments in mind when planning updates for the home. We are happy to hear you otherwise enjoyed our home and hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.

we enjoyed everything except for the shower, i think owner needs to fix it since it makes a mess everywhere, other than that all was good.

We enjoyed the place. Its cute and cozy. We got locked out and the local management company was very helpful in assisting us. We did have some creatures in the attic that woke us in the middle of the night, wanted to let the owners know before they cause any damages. Guess that is what happens in the forest and mountains. :)

We loved staying in this cute little cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of 6 and had all the amenities we needed. Very close (a 5 minute drive) into town. Very nicely decorated and updated.

This little cabin was a wonderful place for my family and I. Quiet and cozy with great seating on the deck.
