Bring the entire family to enjoy the peace and comfort of this three-bedroom Sea Ranch home, a sun-splashed escape with a private hot tub and deck, dog-friendly accommodations, and nearby access to community swimming pools, tennis courts, and saunas.

You'll find this cozy, two-level home on the hillside east of California Highway 1, offering lovely meadow views five miles south of downtown Gualala. Go tidepooling and watch the local harbor seals at Shell Beach one mile west, take walks on the sandy expanse of Walk On Beach less than two miles west, and spend sunny days enjoying the heated pool, saunas, and tennis courts at the Ohlson Recreation Center two miles south.

With natural beam ceilings, built-in window seats, and a pair of plush recliners, the living space will make you feel immediately at home. Use the provided logs to build a morning fire in the wood stove, curl up by the window to glimpse bobcats passing through the meadow, or set up a board game as a Netflix favorite plays in the background (a DVD player, VCR, VHS library, and free WiFi are also provided).

Begin each morning with sticky buns from Twofish Baking seven miles south, and spend each afternoon preparing al fresco meals on the charcoal grill. Take your dogs for walks on the private local trails (please note that there is a two-dog maximum at this home), stretch out with a good book on the deck, and spend evenings stargazing with your loved ones in the warmth of the private hot tub.

Whether you've come to Sea Ranch to relax, unwind, or reconnect with your family, you'll be able to do it all in this lovely home! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

We really loved The Bobcat House! It is quiet, the kitchen is filled with more than enough cooking and eating utensils, the hot tub is divine, a diversity of birds visited the property while we were there, and the home is close to the church, Walk-on Beach, Annapolis, etc. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

This older home had a nice layout for 6 people. A separate living space upstairs offers some private time for friends or family too. Hot tub was great, very clean. The house needs updating but we did appreciate that it was dog-friendly.

Love the window seats, clean jacuzzi, and large, comfortable home.

This house was spacious and well appointed. Stove and oven worked great and right near all the beaches. We loved it here and would return.

Lovely home. Well appointed. Hot tub a dream. Lots of firewood. Very clean.

Good house with a nice well-equipped kitchen. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Easy to get to from the highway. Could use a new coat of paint to cover scuff marks on doors, lower walls, but otherwise in good shape.

Nice house, excellent hot tub, kitchen with just about anything you need. Private balcony. Personally, I found the bed in the master bedroom to be quite firm and not comfy. Also, I don't think the telly works other than for netflix. Good location for travel to Ft. Bragg (about an hour drive) and to Mendocino. Lots of beaches, many good for dogs. Great grocery store, Surf Grocery, though a little more expensive than the grocer across the street. Surf has a nice deli. We had a bit of rain and did not take advantage of swimming pool at Sea Ranch. Very quiet. We liked it. House is practical and I thought, very cute. Great place from which to explore area.

This Sea Ranch property is perfect for a family vacationing together. There are beds for six, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a separate upstairs TV area, a large living room, dining room, and kitchen downstairs. Also lovely is the large spa out on the deck; the stars late at night are amazing! Very quiet and peaceful.

Loved the open space in the living room and the hottub. Thanks!

Know before you go that Sea Ranch is VERY isolated. There is absolutely nothing to do, so bring your own fun and entertainment. Groceries are ridiculously expensive and many of the clerks were rude and impatient.

We stayed with our two dogs. This house was cozy and comfortable.

We came for the week between Christmas and New Years and brought our dogs along. We all loved the daily walks on the beach. We drove up to Mendocino and had a great lunch at Trillium. In Gualala we had lunch at Trinks twice it was so good. Dinners at St Orres were very special.

We have four kids and a dog and we had plenty of space. This is one of our favorite houses we have stayed in at Sea Ranch.

We had a great visit to Sea Ranch. There were 3 couples and the house was a perfect fit for us. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking with everything we needed. Hot tub was a favorite. The house was surrounded by a large yard (great for games) and plenty of light, and was surrounded by beautiful trees. Not too much ocean view. It was a one mile walk to the bluff trail following a bit of road and then trails down to the ocean. The house was spotlessly cleaned and everything in perfect working order. It was great to have 3 bathrooms and there was plenty of room to spread out with an extra sitting room upstairs next to the bedroom.

I realize that to take advantage of the rivers and ocean, I would bring a kayak next time..
