Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Oregon Coast with this recently remodeled vacation rental! Perched on the edge of the Siuslaw National Forest, and with a private deck overlooking the great blue Pacific, this charming duplex is the perfect way to recharge your batteries.
The house is ideally located for anyone who wants to experience the majestic terrain of the Pacific Northwest. Hidden away on a quiet property about seven miles south of Yachats, the rental is just five miles from the rocky headlands of Cape Perpetua. Lace up your hiking boots and explore the area's spectacular hiking trails, churning inlets, and explosive natural fountains. If you prefer to take things a little easier, spend a day lounging on the sand at Tenmile Creek, or descend the steep trail on the edge of the rental property to a small hidden beach.
When you need a break, head on back to your cozy rental. Skylights flood the space with soft natural light, and the big bay window in the bedroom provides a lovely space to curl up with a book and a cup of tea. A king-size bed provides plenty of room for two guests. Upstairs, you'll find a kitchenette with a microwave, minifridge, toaster oven, and waffle iron, perfect for preparing small meals. Enjoy your food at the bar, or dine out on the deck with the trees all around.
Please note that while free WiFi is provided, the rental's remote location means the connection can be uneven at times - all the better to leave your obligations behind! You can also rent both halves of the duplex as a whole if you're traveling with a larger group. Please call Vacasa for more information!
A wonderful coastal getaway awaits. Book your reservation today! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.
You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

We really enjoyed this house. It's a two-story townhouse (bedroom/full bathroom on the main floor, family room/kitchen/half bath/deck on the upper floor). It's in a quiet, forested area. Good ocean views from the second story deck. There is access to a private beach (shared with the other 10 or so units on the property). You just need to go down a pathway--the path is somewhat steep, but I wouldn't imagine it would be an issue for anyone other than those with mobility issues. The beach is sandy and around a 1/4 mile long. There's also a pretty big grassy area (again, shared with the other units) in the backyard above the beach--there are picnic tables and plenty of room for kids to run around, bocce ball, croquet, etc..
The house is about a 10-15 minute drive south of the part of Yachats with the restaurants and shops.
We had no issues with the Wi-Fi. The only TV is in the upstairs main living area. It has a program that gives access to lots of movies (including lots of new ones).
The furnishings were all nice, including the king bed. The fridge is very small, but could easily fit a half gallon of milk and fruits/veggies.
The biggest downside to the house is the tap water had a strong metallic taste--we avoided drinking it as much as possible because it tasted disgusting. I would highly recommend bringing/buying bottled water.
I used the map function on my iPhone for directions to the house, and it led us to a location about 7 miles north of the house--follow the written driving instructions Vacasa provides.
Overall, the house was great. It was a nice jumping off point for going to Florence (~25 minute drive), going into Yachats (~10-15 minute drive), and going for runs/hikes on nearby trails (the Hobbit trail/trail to Heceta Lighthouse was about a 5 minute drive, the 804 trail was a ~15-20 minute drive).

Easy to find. Small, but perfect for what we needed. Beautiful inside and out. We did have an issue getting into the house. Neither the key nor the code worked with no cell service. We were able to connect to the wifi and call Vacasa. They got us in really quick.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nites while we explored Yachats and the surrounding areas. Beautifully landscaped grounds and access to beach. Clean home which was tastefully decorated. Will definitely stay here again.

Love this little apartment right on the beach. You can sit in living area and have a lovely view of the Pacific Ocean. Very cozy and clean. Will definitely stay here again in my next visit to the Oregon Coast.

The views from this apartment (Oregon House 5A) were stunningly beautiful. The house itself was modern, incredibly clean and private.

This is a delightful 2 story unit as a part of a duplex. There is a 1.5 baths and 1 bedroom and a cot. You don't need to go through a bedroom to access either bath. Worked great for us travelling with a older child. No restaurants nearby. Yachats about 7 miles to north. Refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. No burners or full size oven but we don't care about that. There were outside grills available to use on site. The property is located on the ocean front and it has a lawn and is wooded. Very close to Cape Perpetua and very near Sea Lion Cave and a number of state parks. It was clean. Check in was a breeze. The value was great.

We loved the location and its proximity to the beach. State Parks and local attractions offered daily adventures.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy place. The living room and bedroom both have a wonderful view on the ocean and you can directly access the beach. We'd definitely come again.

Its a great spot, but the duplex does not have a sofa bed, only a roll out cot.
Cheri G.Nov 2018
We loved the seclusion. The house was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was there was no real kitchen to cook in.
It didn't bother me too much...we just went to Yachats and found local restaraunts at dinner time.

Great spot on the coast. Private so long as the other side of the duplex is quiet, which for us they were. Appreciated the setting in the trees and the access to a very private beach. Toaster oven, microwave and small refrigerator worked surprisingly well for our eating needs. Bring a kite!

What an amazing place to visit for a relaxing and restorative few days! Don’t miss the sea lion caves just down Highway 101 or hiking in Cape Perpetua! Home itself was wonderful- yes, you can hear neighbors but that wasn’t disruptive to us. Enjoyed making our own meals and hearing ocean. Beach is phenomenal on the property. Go - you won’t regret it!

I needed a peaceful, beautiful, comfortable space to relax and Oregon House fit the bill. The grounds are luscious, there's a soft ocean breeze, the gentle sound of crashing waves can be heard at the lovely, well-cleaned home. The bed in the unit I stayed was superbly comfortable, paired with the comforter and pillows, it was like a big hug. Some things to note: Bring coffee/tea, as it is not provided. If the other half of the duplex is also being used, it will feel less private. I stayed as a solo guest; the other half of the duplex was a family of four. Peacefully enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck while watching the waves, was daily and abruptly interrupted when the family next door also chose to use their deck in the same time frame. The walls are thin. Footsteps, crying babies, and tantrum-throwing toddlers will sound like they are in your side of the duplex. The aforementioned occurrences didn't make my stay much less enjoyable. No one bothered me; it was quiet most of the time; there were many places to relax outside; the beach was fun to explore; and I absolutely loved having no cell service (Verizon) during my stay.

The view is great! Very clean and bright. Beautiful private beach!
It is easy to hear the neighbors next door.
Amber B.Jun 2018
Loved having a private beach on the property that was close enough to see and hear from the comfort of the couch. Loved that the duplex was tucked down between the highway and ocean making it isolated and quiet. The duplex had the basic essentials we needed to eat, lounge and relax. Will definitely book it or one of the other properties nearby in the future.

The property management company was horrible. When we booked the reservation we received a confirmation email that said we would receive instructions on how to enter the property 6 days prior to our stay. The night before our stay I still hadn't seen anything. I called and emailed before they finally sent me the instructions to get in. This was at 8pm and check in was the next day. Then I got a call back from them finally after check in and when we were already in the property. The lady was rude. The largest disappointment was the fact that we rented this place because it was beautiful and had direct beach access. When we got to the house there was a note saying the beach access was closed for repairs. It would have been really nice for the management company to let renters know this is the case before they stay. I would have cancelled my stay here and chosen something else. We wanted to take our coffee and a book down to the beach each morning and couldn't do that. It was very disappointing. The drive wasn't far but then you had to pack up the car and get yourself ready. Really bad communication from this management company. I will never rent from them again.
The owners are currently repairing the steps down to the beach, so we are not currently advertising direct beach access. We apologize for any disappointments this guest experienced.

We enjoyed our stay at Oregon House very much. Our rental was very clean, up-to-date with wonderful views of the ocean. The bedroom is downstairs and the kitchen and living room with balcony is upstairs. You feel like you are in the trees. Loved the park like setting where there are many chairs to sit and watch the sea. After sitting there in the relaxing setting, I was able to pick a few leaves from the mint growing along the stream and go back and make some mint tea. The road is right behind us but the sea was louder then the traffic sound and so did not notice it at all. Very enjoyable time.

The ocean view and sound was soothing. The grounds were nice. Although I had worried about highway noise it was never noticeable.

Private and quiet overlooking a stunning beach area that felt like 'mine'. Lovely accommodations. Really couldn't have asked for more.

My husband and I have four kids and this was our first mini vacation without them in six years! This place was amazing, thinking of making this a yearly couples retreat! It was a perfect little place for a couple to enjoy. WiFi worked amazing, there was no cell service but with FaceTime was able to keep in touch with the kiddos. We did a day of hiking and it was amazing. What a great weekend getaway for us❤️
David S.Oct 2017
We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was amazing. Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Views were stunning and the place was quiet and far from the bustle and noise.
Christine A.Sep 2017
We loved this property. It's private, romantic, and great access to Florence and yachats while still feeing very secluded. The property was perfect for a romantic weekend or small family vacation. The shower is exceptionally amazing!
Mark M.Sep 2017
Very nice and new. The view is spectacular and is on the right side of Highway 101 for ocean access. The trail to the ocean is completely new and quite easy to navigate, even with a bad knee. The stairs were much easier than anticipated. If you plan to watch "live" TV, you will be unable to do so. They have Roku TV which does not offer a football fan the "live experience". Very clean and comfortable. The walk in shower in the duplex is to die for and the King bed very comfortable. All furnishings are new. Not a place to cook meals, but a microwave and coffee pot and furnished with some eating utensils. Fridge also available. Very nice and I would definitely recommend if you are not a "live" football fan!

This place was the ultimate Oregon Coast vacation rental. Right on the coast where the crashing of the waves puts you to sleep every night. You can sit on the Private deck to enjoy morning coffee, and listen to the waves as they spill over the shore below. awesome! Fantastic views, and wooded surroundings, and spacious size unit, We will recommend this rental to any and all people we run into heading to the unmatched beauty of the Oregon Coast.

This was an ideal property for for my wife and I. Attention to detail was evident. The isolated, quiet, un-populated beach in front of the property was unbelievable - a real gem. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. A plus, the weather was a 10+ for three solid days. Great time, and a great stay. Good job.
Cathy T.Aug 2017
My adult son and I were fortunate enough to spend 8 nights at this spectacular retreat! Once we saw the grounds, the inside of the condo, how easy it was to get to the beach, that we could see and hear the ocean from our balcony, we decided we did not want to leave the property. Why go anywhere else...we found more than we wished for. We did go in for the eclipse and groceries. Our hardest decision was where to have our coffee and spend our days...on the balcony, the beach, the swing on the grounds, or the chairs out front! The beach below is so secluded you feel like it is your own! We did not want to leave this place!
Joseph H.Aug 2017
We had a great time at the duplex. Loved having the beach right there, and the home was comfortable and more than enough space for two. We took day trips to Yachats, Newport and Florence, all easily accessible from this location. We even took a day trip to Crater Lake, and the ride along the Umpqua River is definitely worth it!!
Sarah L.Aug 2017
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy duplex between Florence and Yachats. The kitchen and living room area upstairs are a little small, but still comfortable and with all the basic amenities we needed. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were more spacious. Because it's set among the trees, it feels pretty private. The duplex walls are kind of thin though, so you might hear your neighbors. Still, we enjoyed the feeling of privacy and this was a cozy spot for a weekend getaway. We'd definitely come back.
Patty F.Aug 2017
LOVED the ocean view, waves breaking, sunsets and the trees and flowers spread over the grounds. The beach below the apartment was wonderful. Large bedroom with window seat and new bathroom and shower were spacious! Kitchen and living room were quite small, but adequate when sharing with someone you like to be close to! Not in town, but the peace and privacy suited us perfectly.
