We had a great time at this very cozy beachfront retreat. The new upgrades (flooring, paint, furnishings, etc.) were lovely and made our stay so enjoyable. I would recommend this for couples or a family. Easy beach access and close to Downtown Cayucos as well as Morro Bay.
I took my son and a few of his close friends for his graduation. They had fun, the weather was perfect, and house close to great places to eat
The ocean view was our top priority and it was endless surf for miles
The house is nothing fancy, but it is clean and adiquate. The location is unbeatable. Beautiful sunsets and a view of the comings and goings on the beach.
My 5 sisters and I get together every year. This year was Cayucos. We had a great time. Loved the house, beach, town!
We loved staying at this house. Roomy, right ON the beach, incredible sunsets. And everything you need. Space heaters in two hours of the rooms and a wall heater if you go during colder months. Be sure and go whale watching with Sub Sea Tours in
Morro Bay. We had such a good time we’re planning on going again next year.
The great view and wonderful location. Easy entry upon arrival and easy exit upon leaving. The house was clean and well equipped.
I just returned from a 5 day stay at this house right on the beach. I took my large family and we had a blast! The house is comfortable and there was already a lot of kitchen supplies (pots, pans, utensils) and tons of extra towels, sheets, blankets, etc. The stairs leading down to the beach are quite a hike, especially the metal ladder at the end. Would be very challenging for anyone who was largely overweight or handicapped. We would definitely come back to this house and location. The beach is super quiet and private.
Location & the view were the best part of staying in this home by the ocean. Relaxing to the tune of the ocean and seagulls was what we were looking for.
Wow, the view on this cute beach spot is spectacular! I’d come back to just get another chance to stare out at Morro Bay Rock and listen to the peaceful waves crashing. Cute, clean and week equipped. It’s a bit dated..but the rest makes up for it. Best part was that the property company went over and above to make us feel happy and safe, after a mishap with one of there other properties- which was out of their control! We will be back...
Really enjoyed the view and the relaxing atmosphere !!
Awesome location. 1.5 mile walk along beach to pier. Having both an infant and a toddler the fence was greatly appreciated. On the flip side of that the ladder atached to the last 10 feet of the stairs is a challenge with kids or carrying certain equipment.. We actually saw multiple homes with damaged, incomplete stairs that lead to beach for both public and private access and wondered if there was some sort of red tape preventing them from being able to complete. Also if you have small kids be advised the heater is a wall unit and gets very hot so use caution with small children.
Great house well stocked, fit family of 6 easily. The views and location are incredible. Stairs were easily managed, to get to the beach by everyone in the house. This place is a gem. Don't tell anyone about it. :)
Comfortable house. Would stay here again. Back of the house gets a bit cold but space heaters were provided. Needed the extra blankets at night. There were plenty of extra blankets and linens.
We wished for a longer stay but next time because we will be back!!!
We enjoyed our Mother/daughter trip to Cayucos. The house was clean and well stocked.
very beautiful beach, great sunsets. comfortable home, not lavish but very nice.
Clean place in a great location.
House is decent and humble, nothing fancy but perfectly acceptable. The provided photos and description give you a realistic expectation for when you show up, no surprises. Note that two rooms have two twin beds each, so not the best setup for multiple couples. Also, the couch is a hide-a-bed, which accommodates guest 7 & 8. The location is perfect, can't beat beachfront for sunrise, sunset, beachcombing, surfing, etc. Would not recommend this house for elderly or young children, as there is a steep metal ladder to the beach at the end of the wooden stairs.
Nice size, great view. Have a few concerns but nothing that would prevent us from staying again.
This little place is rather unique and nice. It is a long house with bedrooms running down the very long hallway. King bed room is rather large and the 2 twins rather cozy but very functional. The kitchen is workable but desperately needs new pots and pans, knives, serving bowls, and cooking utensils. The faucet also sprays all over the kitchen, so be prepared. If you like to cook, do bring your own. We wanted to listen to music and there was nothing that could handle our CD's but we lived with out that. Back porch is nice but do beware that there is no outside light so if you bbq, it is very hard in the dark. We had a GREAT time, beach is gorgeous and the surfers were right there to watch. The ladder to the beach is rather scary so we used the neighbors (with their permission). Would I come back here to stay, YES, in a heartbeat!!
Great place to watch surfers and stroll on the beach. Sounds of surf are relaxing. Could have used a little maintenance.
Perfect house for exactly what we wanted and that was, the view, stepping on to the beach for long walks with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night.
Stayed here 3 times and the price has been going up and nothing has been updated. Mattresses need to be replaced furniture is very outdated and it could use a new paint color on the outside :/. Wish there was an outdoor seating area.
But perks location location location! We walk along the beach to morro bay ( 5 1/2 mile walk) beautiful views! 3 bedrooms are a must for a family of 5-6.
The view is unbelievable. The house is clean and comfortable. Great place to spend a vacation. Absolutely love this house. Only down fall to this house is the stairs to the beach. Very steep and the bottom half is a latter. Would recommend some to use the public access a few houses down.
