We were there on a golf trip, and wanted to watch some golf, Monday night football, and MLB Playoffs. Although the television received hundreds of stations, non were current sports.
Softer toilet paper would be appreciated.
Otherwise, great stay, nice cabin.

This was a lovely house - the rooms were spacious, and it was tucked in amongst the trees and so quiet! I love the Tahoe Donner area for all the hiking and amenities, and we had a wonderful time celebrating my son's 16th birthday. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect holiday get away for the family. Plenty of room, well appointed facilities, and so convenient for Donner Lake, Truckee River, and Lake Tahoe. The beds were a little firm for our liking, but not so bad that we didn't get a good night's sleep. Would come here again!

Had a great time! Nice amount of space for our family. The house was well kept & stocked with all the basics. I’d say the only drawback was the upstairs two bedrooms both had giant ants & it was more of an annoyance than anything. The rest of our family rented a home just across the street. It was a great set up to all be so close & be able to enjoy the weekend together.
Manager response:
We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at our home! We have sprayed the home for ants to ensure that this is no longer a problem for our future guests. Thank you for your feedback, we hope to host you again soon!

Loved the layout of the cabin, open concept provided plenty of room, everything was clean and proximity to downtown Truckee was great.

The cabin was clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything needed for making a dinner. The beds were decent. Our family enjoyed the livingroom. We will come again.

My family and I, together with one other friend, stayed at this lovely cozy cabin in the Donner area for MLK weekend this January. We loved it and felt very cozy and comfortable there throughout the weekend. The open floorplan layout in the central living area was such a treat. All bedrooms (and beds) were comfortable, tidy and clean, and we all felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items, and we got to make hearty home cooked comfort meals throughout the weekend. Really enjoyed our stay and may be returning again. Thanks!

House was fine and well equipped. Worked out great for us as we have Home just down the street and needed some extra beds due to in town guests. House is a bit tired, eg older carpet but all fine

This was the perfect house for our family. Roomy yet cozy. There were adequate kitchen supplies, the house was clean and well maintained. The location can't be beat - close to a variety of activities in the Tahoe area.

Great house for a ski getaway. Kitchen well stocked and all appliances in good working order. Only slept in one bed, it was comfortable.

Great for families with kids. Well appointed and clean. Great hill for playing in the snow behind the house.

Overall we had a good stay, with some good bits and some bad bits. House aside, we were disappointed that the garage was locked and not available, even when this was not specifically mentioned in any of the pre-rental information. This was a real problem for us, as we needed the garage for ski tuning. Even with further escalation it was not available.

The house itself is in a good location. It’s a mid size three bedroom house with good size bedrooms. The lounge is a nice open plan layout and has a separate gas fireplace (great for drying ski boots/gloves) as much as a central heating system. The backyard is a great hangout for the kids and even includes a small flying fox.

On the bad side, the place is looking a bit tired and in desperate need of a spring clean. Even things like the vacuum cleaner was clogged up and I spent an uneasy 30 minutes cleaning that out, arg. The central heating is very noisy, although effective. Noise travels easily through the house, so make sure you have friendly company staying.

Overall we had a good stay, but a decent spring clean, carpet clean, decluttering and some new household pillows/blankets/covers etc would go a long way to refreshing the house.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see there were some disappointments with this stay. We will suggest new bedding to the owner. We have added to the description that the garage is for owner use only. Carpets and a spring clean are scheduled for after the winter season. Thank you!
