Views are great! Having a dock to use great! Location is great as well.
Yes I would use again.
Things to know and prepare for:
Vacasa did provide nice towels. If you are there for more than two days be prepared to purchase more toiletries and trash bags. They provided only 3 rolls and 4 bags. When there for a week with kids it is not enough. Also, no washer and dryer. Not a problem but just a heads up.
Thank you for staying with us, Brad! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the location and views of the home. To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us. We are also sorry for any confusion: this home is not advertised as coming with a washer or dryer amenity. We hope to welcome you back again in the future!

We loved the incredible view from the wonderful windows and the deck We rented the upper part of the house. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. We did have a problem with bits of cat food scattered on the carpet in the king bed, bed room. and cat hair all over. We thought the contract said no pets allowed. Neglected to read the rest, "Unless specifically authorized". Our bad. We sneezed for two days and discovered that the white plush bean bag chair is full of mold. Thought it was the cat. We banished the chair to a corner and the sneezing stopped. No more plopping down into the chair, fluffing mold everywhere. Hopefully the owner will remove it.
The house was wonderful for us, only two of us. Two nice bedrooms and one foldout couch. Covered garage shelterd our car from the snow and rain. It was perfect for us.
Luther, it was a pleasure hosting you and we are glad to hear you enjoyed the hoe. Thank you for taking the tie to share your feedback. We will make sure the bean bag chair is addressed accordingly so as not to pose further issue for guests. We hope to host you again in the future!

The location is just as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is with respect to the internet....it's DSL, unreliable, and stunningly slow. It's almost okay for basic email, but if you need decent internet for business purposes, you have to drive into town......yes, first world problem. Very nice of the owners to allow pets...our pup had a fantastic time playing in fresh water and McCall is a lovely town. We thank you for the hospitality. Scott, La Jolla, CA 2019

We love the view of the lake from this house. The house this year was much the same as last, but is better stocked with kitchen gear for cooking. The lake was cold and clear, better for boating than swimming (unless swimming with a wetsuit on). The house is comfortable, more an apartment or condo size, since it is the lower level only.
Traffic was a little less dense than last year on the adjacent Warren Wagon Road, due to construction at the north end that will continue for a couple of years. There will also be construction downtown, which will go on for four years. McCall is having its growing pains. Happily, this house is generally quiet. There is a beach club next door with it's own dock, bringing sometimes noisy children, often unsupervised. Happily, school had started so there was minimal hubbub this year. Temps and water temperature were quite cool for late August, however, affecting time on and in the water.
The house layout is a little strange for beachside, having off-white carpeting and one shared bath. The carpet also makes true dog-friendliness challenging. Ours adapted well, though, especially as this is their second time in residence.
Biggest drawback? No laundry facilities. A water dryer, stacked, in a closet would make for better livability. A kayak or SUP attached to the dock would make for better lake fun (you can rent them in town, by the day, but having one there would make this rather pricey rental more worthwhile).
A beautiful setting and generally a quiet spot make this our continued choice in McCall.

Steps from a private beach with a dock for the ski boat. Small and quiet.

Pros: pets allowed, lakefront, private dock, small sandy area for kids to play. Cons: AC/thermostat didn’t work, microwave didn’t work, sheets felt like paper towels, kitchen minimally equipped, not very clean when we arrived. Bbq was filthy and not useable. King sized bed was two twins pushed together with big gap in between. Active wasp nests everywhere. I had to have someone come spray them so we could be outside. The view was spectacular and having the dock was great. But this place needs maintenance. Not just dusting and changing sheets after each guest. Definitely didn’t get to enjoy each amenity listed.
This home does not have air conditioning, the microwave is being replaced, wasps have been treated, and we are taking kitchen inventory. We apologize for any disappointments our guests experienced due to these items.

Amazing location and access to the lake. It was quiet and really amazing to wake up to the beautiful sunrise! We would consider renting again!

The downstairs portion of this home was a perfect spot for our family of 4. Lakeside location and easy access to town. Thank you for allowing our dog to join us. We all enjoyed a great weekend.

Nice place on the lake. It was perfect for my family. Grandson caught some fish off the boat dock and he thought that was awesome. The place was clean and Vacasa was wonderful to deal with. I would stay there again.
