Accommodations were very nice and centrally located to Grand Lake and Winter Park.

This home is warm, spacious, and so close to everything. Waking up to the sounds of the stream with no one around on the private back deck is magic. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. Plenty of room for the whole family. The perfect base for all that Grand County has to offer.

The size and location of this house was great! My family of 4 and small dog enjoyed our stay very much. We were in town for cycling event at Trellis Bike Park/Winter Park Ski Resort and the location was the best! Super close to the action, but a more chill vibe in Fraser. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

We spent a week here in the summer with our family. We loved the central location by the Fraser River trail and lots of activities! Two days, we stand up paddle boarded - one day on Grand Lake and another on Granby Reservoir by the Roaring Fork Campground on National Forest land. Grand Lake featured views of Rocky Mountain National Park and lakeside mansions and Granby Lake was much bigger - pure serenity on glass-like water. Grand Lake was also our favorite retailing location. We spent a day at Winter Park Ski Resort riding the alpine slide and hiking at the top of the gondola. Then we also visited the Grand Lake side of Rocky Mountain National Park for a day. This side is much less frequented than the Estes Park side. While there we hiked and saw amazing wildlife such as moose, elk, deer and even a coyote. Our last stop at RMNP was the Alpine Visitor Center and gift shop. When we were all done with our exercise during the week, we enjoyed the private hot tub at the Miller Mountain Retreat house!

The house has an open layout for family gatherings. The master bedrooms updated shower and bathroom was a plus. The grandparents stayed in the other queen bed room and our 13 year old stayed in the bunk bed room. There is also a pull out couch. Our dog was able to join us at the house - just not a RMNP. National parks do not allow dogs on trails. All in all it was a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Home was gorgeous and made a trip to the mountains a perfect escape!

The pros at this property are several. Unit is well situated within walking distance to Safeway where you can stock up on firewood for cold nights. Parking is easy and the neighborhood is quiet. Hot tub on the deck was a bonus and worked well during our stay. Open floor plan made it easy to make meals and enjoy time together. Housekeeping responded immediately when an issue was discovered at check-in and there are plenty of towels for showering and hot tub use. Kitchen is functional and we made all meals at home during our 3 night stay. An issue to note: several loose dogs were noticed roaming the neighborhood and used the open space behind the rental unit as their potty break area. Something to be aware of if kids are playing out back. We would stay here again when in the area.

We love the layout of this home. Everything was done so well. We had some great football games and enjoyEd getting out in the open space behind this house.

This place was super clean and accommodating! They had a great setup for cooking, super great location for skiing Winter Park, easy parking, lovely hot tub, and overall a great home.

We had the best week staying at the Miller Mountain Retreat!! Everything in the house is set up for convenience and comfort, I couldn't be more impressed. We were minutes from the mountain and shops in town which made it super easy to grab anything we needed. The hot tub was a game-changer after a long day skiing, and loved playing with the neighborhood snow pups. Will definitely stay here again, thanks for everything!

Very cozy and lots of space for our family of 4 + dog. Loved having the deck & grass out back to play and hear the river. Great easy location close to the Fraser River trail and minutes from Winter Park.

Spacious yet cozy. Spotless clean with fun ‘mountain decoration.’ Perfectly organized. Thank you!

The hot tub. The location. The bedrooms and bathrooms.
Christine E. Mar 2019
It is a nice place, in a good location and has a great hot tub. I would say that sleeping 10 separate adults is a bit of a stretch unless you have couples. We only had 8 adults (mom's ski trip) and 2 of us slept on the floor/couch. If you had two couples, I would say it comfortably sleeps 6.
Ramona S. Mar 2019
The house was as it looked in the pictures. It was cozy and had all of things we needed during our stay. The only thing we didn't have was towels for the hot tub so had to use the same towels we used to shower. The location is great! About a 10-minute drive to Winter Park. There is a shuttle really close to the house that takes you but if you stay later on the slopes, it doesn't run as much and then you will have to take more than one shuttle and it can take over an hour. Having the hot tub after a day of skiing was awesome! There are rooms with queen beds and one room with bunk beds. There's also a sofa bed. We also had fun playing Foosball and pool on the little table. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Loved the field behind the house. Perfect for kids and dogs to play and be supervised. Also, the location was perfect. Close enough to walk for coffee or groceries. I would point out that the place sleeps 10 and it does, however, 2 of those are sleeping in the middle of the common area. Not a problem depending on the group going.
