A very clean and wonderful cabin with a great view and very secluded
The fully stocked kitchen, gas grill, outdoor fireplace and hot tub made the trip worth while! Lovely area, very clean and nicely furnished. Thank you for sharing your home! Loved the Toccoa Adventures tubing and gem mining across the street, unique shops on Blue Ridge Drive , Mercier Orchards were all great to visit!
The Moose Lodge is perfect for a couple and two dogs. We really enjoyed everything thing about it but we spent most of our time either on the beautiful porch or in the hot tub! We will definitely be back! The owner was very nice, also!
Second year coming for anniversary. Great place, great kitchen, great fenced-in area the the dog, quiet, conveniently located (don't have to drive through winding-vomit-bucket Aska roads) to get there. 15 minutes to Ingles. Great lighting. Great hot tub. Didn't want to leave.
The solitude quietness and cleaness of the cabin was great. Enjoyed the great porch. Would recommend to family and friends
This was exactly what we were looking for. Small fenced in yard for our fur baby, nice not having to walk him first thing in the morning but knew he was safe. The sunken hot tub made it easy to get in an out of, enjoyed it every afternoon. The outside fire place was very nice. Cabin was clean and perfect for our get away. There was no cell phone reception, WIFI worked perfectly for those days we had to work. If you need to use the phone for personal use purchase a calling card. Cabin well stocked with kitchen utensils, plenty of blankets and towels. Just an enjoyable stay all around, would definitely do again.
The 4 of us - 2 people, 2 dogs -loved the location!! Outside living room with fireplace, hot tub, fenced yard was everything we hoped for. Dogs enjoyed the freedom to be able to walk the deck and the yard. Daily walks through the neighborhood was peaceful.
Called to inquire about a cabin we saw online but it was already rented. Sales lady was extremely helpful in suggesting this cabin and I am so glad she did. This cabin was very clean and in a good location, we felt completely safe. Bonus it felt secluded and private! Would definitely stay here again and the rental company was very helpful and friendly! Thanks for a great getaway CT
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Moose Lodge cabin. It was clean and well maintained. It's a very private setting. The hot tub and outdoor deck with the fireplace is fabulous. Can be enjoyed rain or shine. A nice perk was having firewood and towels for the hot tub available. There are many restaurants in town and quaint stores. Many restaurants are dog friendly. We ate on the front port of Harvest on the Main with our large dog. He enjoyed all the attention. We enjoyed hiking the Flat Creek Trail and the short hike to Fall Branch Falls. We would definitely visit again.
What a great cabin! We were looking to take a break from the daily craziness that comes with working and having 2 kids. Our family had a great time hiking, playing games and just enjoying one another. Thanks so much!
Cabin was perfect location, close enough to town, but far enough for seclusion and privacy. Weather was perfect in October. Days were warm to walk around town in shorts, nights cooled off to take advantage of outdoor fireplace. Which, I have to say, had more firewood than any other place we have stayed at. Cabin was clean, and had everything we needed. Yard was great for dog, even though she preferred to walk along the road. Town is very dog friendly. Took her to Blue Ridge Brewery, and sat outside Three Sisters and had ice cream. Everyone in Blue Ridge and Ellijay so friendly. Would love to come back when leaves are changing.
We normally come up to the GA Mts. three times a year to ge away from the heat in FL. The cabin was one of the nicer ones we've stayed in. Blue Ridge seems to work the best for us. Distance wise and thing to do. The time before we stayed in Ellijay and it was nice, but our dog sitter was in Blue Ridge. The physical property was well maintained. It rained a lot so we didn't use the dog area. GA clay stains too many things. The road area was fine. Didn't see any wild life, but maybe next time. The main road is narrow to the cabin when you encounter another vehicle on it. Someone has to give and back up so the other care can pass. The beds very firm, and a screened porch would be nice like others have said, but on a hold I would give this cabin high marks. You could tell it was well maintained as soon as you approached the building. Hopefully we'll see you in late April again.
The cabin - We had a great time at the cabin. We loved the porch, fenced in yard for the dog, and the seclusion. The cabin had everything we needed. We we were pleasantly surprised there was firewood already there which was great because our first night there it was pretty cold. The pictures on line are exactly what you will get. Town - We loved the town. The locals were very friendly. We had a meal at Harvest on Main on the front porch with our dog. The food was very good. The town is very dog friendly. We could go into almost every shop with our dog who was in a doggie stroller. We highly recommend stopping in The Sweet Shoppe. The Red Velvet cheesecake was awesome. Sundance Cabin Rental - Super easy to complete the rental process. Check in and check out was simple. The staff is friendly and responsive. We called to report the gas grill was not working and someone came out within an hour and fixed the problem immediately. Things to be aware but did not take away from the experience - Road to the cabin can be a bit scary the first couple of times going up and down but it was part of the adventure. Alcohol - beer and wine easily accessible at the grocery stores however for liquor you will have to drive a distance for that. Beds - the mattresses could be upgraded. They were a bit hard. Overall we would use this cabin again and will recommend it to anyone.

After a long drive to Blue Ridge we were so happy to arrive at our beautiful cabin in the woods! It was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. We spent most of our evenings by the gorgeous outdoor fireplace on the covered deck. There was plenty of firewood for the chilly nights. We hiked the nearby falls, shopped at Mercier Orchards (suggest a weekday visit!) and attended the Paws in the Park festival . Harvest on Main is still our go to restaurant for a special treat! Moose Lodge is perfect for 2 couples, and our dog enjoyed the fenced yard. We had zero problems during our stay, and the Sundance staff were great to deal with when we booked. Highly recommended!
My wife and I really enjoyed staying at Moose Lodge. The location was great , we were only 10-15 minutes from town and all the places we like to eat. We really liked the layout of the cabin. The accommodations were great, the beds were really comfortable. We really liked the large covered area with the fire place and took full advantage of it. Being that is was the first part of August we didn't get to put a fire in the fireplace. We took advantage of the hot tub using it several times. Our dog loved the fenced in area in the back and had a great time running and playing. We will definitely stay there again, as a matter of fact we are looking forward to it.
We had a great time. The cabin was well stocked, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay again.
Moose Lodge was perfect for our anniversary get away. Rained the whole stay, but covered porches were great to hang out under and listen to the rain. Fenced back yard was great for our pup.
