We stayed 2 nights in the downstairs unit with our 2 dogs. Loved the convenience of the fenced in area. Dogs were able to be let out and in with ease. The unit is well laid out with plenty of room. The duplex is in an older neighborhood but is pretty centrally located for easy drive to local destinations. The donut shop around the corner was a hit!

This is a decent place for the location, we'll within range of a lot of good places to go but not specifically located in one of those areas (like downtown or Galveston).

It is missing a lot of the amenities that other locations have such as a hot tub or bikes. Additionally, it was on the lighter side in terms of what they gave you (we ran out of toilet paper as they only had 2 rolls for a place that sleeps 7).

This home has everything we need as a family of five with a dog. It’s close to downtown and two of our favorite spots - Sparrow Bakery and Crux Fermentation Project. It’s a five minute drive to downtown/Old Bend and it’s an easy bike ride to Phill’s Trailhead for great single track riding without needing to drive.
Be aware there is an upstairs unit that is large and is not carpeted. If it’s occupied by a family with small kids it could be loud. The spacious house has plenty of room for a big family and has a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer for laundry. The internet was a bit wack for the first few days and the entertainment system (TV/cable box/Blue Ray player) could use some love (e.g. more than one HDMI cable) to ensure a better experience when watching TV or rented movies.
