This house appears to be recently renovated and they did some very nice touches to the house. Heated floors (which we didn't need in July), new appliances, great kitchen, beautiful master bath. The water pressure isn't the best but it did the trick. Speaking of the kitchen, bring wine and drinking glasses we couldn't find anything larger than 6-8 ounce drinking glasses and only a few of those. There are otherwise a hodgepodge of various dinner plates and bowls. If you plan to do much cooking, you should bring your own cooking pans, utensils, etc..

One thing not described in the listing. There are maybe 2 parking spots on Yellowstone if you parked on a diagonal, otherwise your car would hang out into the street. And then there are about 75 steps down to the house, these are wood, gravel and uneven. There is a driveway behind the house on an unnamed street (ally) but be advised, the drive way is very steep and our SUV spun it's wheels trying to get up to the parking area.

No umbrella on the deck so the sun gets a bit warm outside.. but the views from the desk are amazing of the lake. I list these things for others to be aware of, they did NOT hinder us from truly enjoying the house and the wonderful breezes and did I mention the view? All that being said... I'd rent this house again if the timing worked out. Thanks!

This home is on the North/East side of Lake Arrowhead and offers GORGEOUS views! The home is also nicely remodeled with a lovely kitchen! We couldn't find heating or AC (and only the windows have screens, not the doors nor sliding glass doors) however there are wonderful heated floors that provide nice heat. Good to know are that each of the 3 bedrooms are each on a different floor (1 Queen bed in each bedroom) and only the bottom bedroom has good light blocking (2nd floor has transparent drapes and 3rd floor upper floor windows don't have drapes on the upper windows so we couldn't use the master bedroom unless we wanted to be woken up at 5am) so we slept in the bottom bedroom. Also, we have a large SUV that barely fit up the super steep lower parking by the garage off the access road (I had to be out to help navigate us backing out) and we didn't feel comfortable parking on the top street parking off Yellowstone because the house next-door was having a huge party of college kids with 7 cars and we were afraid a drunk driver would hit our SUV. The views are truly gorgeous though from this nicely remodeled home and the wifi had great signal!

Planned a quick getaway wit my wife for or anniversary. The home was remodeled beautifully and has amazing views from every room in the home. We will definitely go back in the winter however I would not book again in the summer. Unfortunately the home is geared up for winter with heated floors and towel racks but does not have AC. I own my own heating and AC company and spend my days installing systems in the heat. Definitely was unfortunate to be uncomfortable during the afternoon hours at the home, but the evenings were not bat with the windows open and the cross breeze. Just something to keep in mind when booking that I overlooked

My husband and I and our two boys (aged one and three) went to visit Eagle’s Roost, in August 2019. It could not have been a more perfect family break. The house itself is fantastic, really good size rooms, super kitchen, comfy beds and my goodness the top bedroom is absolutely phenomenal. The views are gorgeous and the bathroom luxurious. The owners have been very thoughtful and left tea, coffee and the basics. The property was very easy to find, and access to the keys was simple. We spent our days either on the lake (you can rent kayaks etc and access the water via the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, which also has a lovely beach and swimming pool) - we also went on trails and explored the village, afterwards relaxing on the gorgeous sun terrace in the house. Our children loved running around on the deck and looking at the wildlife… We loved it when they went to bed, when we had a gin and tonic whilst watching the sun go down!

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. We were very comfortable in the house and had privacy. The view was fantastic, and we had everything we needed in the house. We were afraid that to be cold, but the house was nice and warm with Heating thermostat. The only thing I have to say if you are going in winter you really need the 4x4 car and there is only a spot for two cars only.
