Dog-friendly waterfront studio cottage with private beach access

This one of a kind, dog-friendly cabin is located in Moclips on a pristine beachfront lot with its own private beach access. The cabin is set up like a studio with a kitchen (fully equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pans, dishes), bathroom with shower, bedroom and wood-burning stove. Enjoy the cabin for summer stays and winter storm watches. Your view extends north to Pt. Grenville and south to Ocean Shores. There is excellent surf fishing right outside your door.

Wake up to the spectacular view of the pristine ocean with eagles, seagulls, pelicans, deer, fishing boats and activities on the beach. You can ride bikes on the beach (it is a blast) build massive sand castles, have a fire, search for treasures and watch for sea life.

What's nearby:

Cute little cabin

It is really tiny, but you can’t beat the location and our pup loved running on the beach!

This is the perfect location and size for one or two people and a dog. Steps to the beach path, outstanding view is always there. The kitchen and bathroom were clean when I arrived (the shower stall has mildew stains that were there and look like from age.) Nice towels and enough of them. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and pots/pans. You will need your own staples for cooking (oils and spices and such, as well as any foil or plastic wrap) and you will hand wash your dishes.
The bed has a very squishy topper on it and I would have preferred a firmer style personally. Nice queen sized and tucked into a corner you can even watch the sunset from bed. This place is “charming” but it wouldn’t harm to deep clean the rest of the older surfaces, light fixtures, and such. Kind of grimy from age and use. And the bed pillows aren’t great for sleeping but are good for leaning upon. All in all a very sweet spot but could just use some more TLC. I would come again.
Manager response:
Hi, Kerry! We appreciate your helpful feedback and will be sure to get a thorough cleaning done. Thank you!

We sat in bed and for 3 nights watched the most incredible sunsets. It was tiny, but we didn't mind. Would recommend!

Cozy & cute. Dog-friendly❤️ Close, private access to the beach was awesome🦮🌊 Spectacular view from window & porch. Bed sits on a platform so difficult to get in & out (their is a footstool). Didn't use the wood stove but would be nice for Winter stays. Not well stocked but the Moclips Country Store is less than 5 minutes away for anything you might need. I forgot my phone charger but was able to buy one...friendly staff & they serve food if you don't want to cook (didn't try, I cooked). Toilet is enclosed so very tight quarters🥴 Clean for the most part. Convenient check-in, check-out.

We loved the cabin and that you allow dogs. Everything was neat and clean. Would have liked to know the Wi-Fi password though.
Manager response:
Carma, thank you for the review of your stay at Beachfront Cabin. We are so glad you enjoyed the cabin. The password for the cabin should have been in the check-in email you received with the details for the home. Please remember we have a 24 hr customer care line to assist our guests with any issues that arise. Any of our agents would have ben glad to assist you in locating the password. We look forward to hosting you again. Thank you!

While no bigger than a postage stamp this cozy ocean view cabin has everything you’ll need right down to the coffee grinder. Our breakfast companions included a pair of eagles and their juvenile hanging out on the beach as well as in the sky. The beach at Moclips is simply the best. We will look forward to returning. Thanks for sharing this cozy gem.

A little tiny for 2 ppl and dog, but nice weather meant we were outside most of time. Perfect location. Quite cozy.

Bring your own firewood and kindling in case they are out. Also watch out for cars speeding down the beach!

From the short walk thru dune grass to a beautiful, wild beach, this place is heaven on earth! At the end of the road so it's quiet, except for the roar of the ocean. Deer outside my window, elk in the upper meadows, clams galore on the beach, eagles soaring the skies, what more does a body need?! Won't be long before I revisit this beautiful paradise!

We loved this place. We arrived later in the evening and it was wet and foggy, but we were so fortunate to have a beautiful morning to explore the beach the following day. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed to hunker down for a cozy evening. Would love to return here someday and would recommend to anyone who's looking for a low-key beach access property with gorgeous views and perfectly located near Olympic National Park to continue their exploring!

My husband and I NEEDED to remind ourselves that we are a couple and not just Mom and Dad, and this tiny gem was the ideal location. Being able to lay in bed and watch the waves was a dream come true, and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was a delight. This is an easy location to get down to Ocean Shores without getting stuck feeling like a tourist or paying out the nose for Seabrook. We had a fantastic evening of bar food and drinks at the Seagate, we spent a day driving around Lake Quinault and hiking, and we were able to amble down to the surf in minutes whenever we wanted. My only caution is that there's only two outlets in the cabin and so we took turns charging our phones.

I had seen the cabin when I visited Moclips in 2020 and thought it would be a great place to stay. The location could not be beat with the beach access right beside the cabin. I liked the nautical theme throughout the decor and the shipworm paneling. It was just the sort of character I was looking for in a place to stay on the beach. The kitchen met my needs well, and this quiet spot beside the ocean made for a nice few nights of relaxation, reading, and exploring the area. I would definitely recommend this place.

This cabin was better than expected.

My boyfriend and I absolutely adored this cabin. While the cleanliness surely wasn't up to my personal standards (I'm a housekeeper), we were both able enjoy a 180 degree view of our hauntingly beautiful Pacific coast. We ate some delicious food over at Koko's in Seabrook but were so very sad when we pulled up to the Red Velvet Bakery with mouths watering only to find out they were shutting their doors for good THAT DAY. Ugh. Can't have it all I suppose haha. It was the perfect trip in an equally perfect little cabin and we could not be happier.

Next time we will remember our chiweenie and our bocce balls!!
Manager response:
Hi Kelly, we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit. We apologize if the home wasn't cleaned to our usual standard and will review it with the local staff. We are glad that you were able to relax and we'd love to have you visit again soon.

I was floored by how close the beach was! It was so nice to be able to walk down the little trail and immediately be on the sand. The bed was comfortable, and the wood stove was fantastic! It was a wonderful experience.

I had a fabulous stay at the beach cabin. I loved waking up in the morning and seeing the ocean as my first sight of the day. And spending my days walking the beach or just staring at the beach! The kitchen is small but well stocked and I was able to cook my meals. I'm already looking at dates for my next visit!
malcolm m. Feb 2021
Although small this cabin has all that you would need. It is closer to the beach than most. I couldn't get phone service and tv seems to be dvd only (not a real issue. Had a great time.
KARLA R. Dec 2020
Perfect cabin to escape the city, it has everything you need to feel cozy and enjoy a nice weekend
Kate G. Oct 2020
This cute little studio home was just the right size for a weekend away for me and my dog. The biggest draw was being able to walk from the front door to the beach in just five minutes. Super comfy and cozy.
Sam H. Aug 2020
Absolutely loved the cabin. Quiet end of street spot. Spectacular view of the ocean...1 minute walk down path to beach. Had 3 straight days of sunshine while there which is practically unheard of up here. Our dog loved it! TY!
Richard A. Aug 2020
Close to the beach with private access, great yard, fantastic views.
Kathleen K. Aug 2020
So very charming, the view was amazing! Great, quick little get-a-way! Only down side was the very small bathroom and full size bed, good for me, but tight for my 6 ft. 2 husband :)
LoriLee H. Jul 2020
This place was adorable and we loved the convenient beach access. The view was amazing and we enjoyed the little yard to siting and listen to the surf.

We did quite a bit of cooking and found the kitchen on the small side but very easy to use.

I highly recommend this cutie cabin and we'll be back for sure. 🙂

Excellent location, literally steps to the beach & private beach access. This place was great. Small, clean, and has everything you need for a little getaway. Really, the only thing that I will “complain” about, is that housekeeping forgot to leave bath towels, but that was quickly taken care of after a phone call. This place was decent for our large dog. Semi-fenced in yard, which makes it nice for potty time. We used the fireplace, crazy that we needed that in July but it was nice to be able to dry some of our stuff out because we got soaked on a walk we took earlier in the day. The bed is very comfortable.
MUNTEHA S. Jun 2020
Clean, Quiet, and best of all steps from the beach. Highly recommend!
Emily E. Jun 2020
Lovely location- watching the waves from bed was worth it all. Cozy and quaint, nice layout. Very clean! Will be back :)
Brittany E. Jun 2020
This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway to the beach. The house had everything we needed and it was awesome that the backyard had a path right to the beach!
Nicholas I. May 2020
Super cozy spot, literally steps from the beach. Awesome getaway.

Cozy beachfront cabin, just a few steps from beach. Check in and check out was smooth. Loved the time spent here.

So quaint and cozy with a beautiful view. My dog and I had a wonderful time walking the on the beach and watching the the gorgeous sunsets. We'll definitely be back!

Very cutely decorated. Wonderful views and beach access. Comfy bed. Love having a wood stove! Bring your own wood! Well maintained and spotless.

In the midst of a three week camping trip, we spent two nights at this adorable tiny cottage, which was complete with everything one might wish for. And the view of the beach was stunning! Thanks so much to the owners and management who were so responsive, to all our inquiries.
Breanna G. May 2019
The quaint little cabin is located at the end of a beachfront road (there are quite a few cars that use the driveway to turn around). The adorable cabin is small but functional and comes with all the c comforts you need. Any qualms I had about being so far from anything (supermarket, gas, restaurants) was diminished by the facts that the sand was just 20 yards from the door step. Beautiful location and beach. I couldn't ask for a better 2 night getaway for relaxation.
Elisabeth S. Jan 2019
We walked on the beach several times and our dog lived running in the grass. There was everything we needed in the house and the country store around the corner provided the rest. We’ll be back!
Lenore P. Oct 2018
Small place, but it has everything we needed. The bed was a little crammed for two tall people, but everything else was perfect.
James . Jul 2017
We stayed in this Moclips cabin for two nights in July 2014 and were disappointed in ourselves for not staying for more time. This is an amazing and adorable space right on the beach! It's exactly the size you would expect from the pictures and perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The furniture and decorations were charming. We walked onto the sand and watched the sunset over the Pacific one night. We also spent a foggy night, sitting in chairs on the lawn, enjoying the peaceful sound of the waves. The picture window overlooking the ocean is great for sitting at the table, sharing a meal and enjoying the view. This is an amazing deal when you compare it to the low quality motel rooms going for higher prices on the Olympic Peninsula. I would definitely recommend this to other couples looking for both a romantic getaway and an unique place to stay while exploring the Olympic National Forest.
