This place was actually quite fun to stay in. I went with my Bf and 4 children. We had a great weekend. The only thing we had an issue with was the hot tub. It took forever to heat up, and something seemed to be floating in the water. But other than that it was amazing. It snowed the night we got there, and my children had a blast being there.
Manager response:
Rebecca, thank you for your review of your stay at Peaceful Pines. We are so glad you, your best friend and your children all had a great time. We drain and clean our hot tubs after each guest's stay. The water does take a while to heat up after being drained and refilled. Many of the wells in the area have minerals in the water but will not harm. We are so glad you were able to enjoy snow while in the mountains. It truly adds to the beauty and the excitement. We hope you will return soon. Thank you!

It was very quiet and peaceful, so we loved it! I enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the time at Peaceful Pines.
Thank you again.

I will first say the house cleaners did make the house very fresh looking, I was impressed with that. However, beyond that we were not that impressed. The online pictures are very misleading in the size of the cabin. Pool table, was a made of plywood and it was folding. I wouldn’t really call it a pool table, maybe for age 10 and under. When we arrived the pool table was located in the living room/kitchen. And the sofa was in the pool room area. Very cramped!! There was a 2’X2’ area on the kitchen floor in front of the stove and dishwasher where when you walked across it you sank about 1/2”. Very concerned about walking over that. We also found 2 dead roaches throughout the week in the downstairs bathroom. The back deck was pleasant except for the trash that was all over the ground in our view. This cabin is in between 2 other cabins by other management companies and there views seemed to be very clean from their deck.
Only two jets on the hot tub worked. Water was a little cloudy and seemed to have a little film on top of water. The deck boards under the hot tub looked like they were starting to rot. Needless to say we didn’t use it. Not sure how safe or clean it was.
Finally the side deck where the picnic table and grill were located was covered in algae. Didn’t look like it had ever been stained. When it rained it became very slick!!
We paid $2600 for the week, this place had a lot left to be desired. I checked with other friends who have stayed with other cabin companies and they have never had these sort of problems. So I’m very hesitant to recommend this place to another family until it’s been tended too. I really wish I would of done more research into this place before I booked it! It looked great online ☹️
Manager response:
Hello Deena, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. We sincerely apologize for the maintenance oversights you found upon your arrival. Please know we take our guest's feedback very seriously and work hard to address and correct the issues they encountered during their stay. We have picked up and removed the trash outside the property. The hot tub is dumped, cleaned, sanitized, and refilled between each guest but we will make our housekeeping team aware of the reported issues. Maintenance was sent to inspect the kitchen floor and found no sagging. The hot tub jets were adjusted and are in working order. We will check the support boards under the deck and hot tub to make sure they are safe. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again, in the future, for a much more enjoyable stay.

It was such a cozy cabin! Only issue we had was the wifi wouldn’t connect and there was absolutely no service. However, it allowed us to unplug and enjoy it more!
Manager response:
Hi Kristen, thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you had an enjoyable stay in this cozy cabin. We would like to clarify that this home actually does not have WiFi as an advertised amenity. We apologize for any confusion regarding this. We hope to host you again in the future!

The cabin was clean. And served its purpose for my family. We enjoyed the hot tub and all amenities that came with this treasure. We did have a slight issue with a neighbor wanting to drive through our parking spaces for their convenience but other than that it was wonderful. Great area! Plenty of things to do.

This cabin was absolutely perfect in every way! I will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip to Tennessee!

We loved the atmosphere of getting away, not too close to home, but not too far away. Peaceful Pines is a good description of the area surrounding this aptly named cabin.

The cabin was very nice. We enjoyed it and it was plenty of room for 2 couples. However, the AC was not working well so we were forced to open windows. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.
Manager response:
We are glad you loved your stay! We wish you would have called our 24/7 Guest Services line to give us an opportunity to assist with the AC during your stay. We hope to host you again in the future!

It was very peaceful and quiet even though there is a road down in front. Plenty of room to move about both inside and out. Lots of linens to use for two of us...
