What a great experience . House was clean Plenty of towels, bedsheets crispy white. Well equipped kitchen and even small but so-worth little extras like maps, guides, and even some firewood to start the vacation.
And for some that think there were bugs: well, you are in the woods and woods are home for bugs and animals !!!!! 🦟🐜🪲🕷
We will return!

Overall, the house was nice but we wouldn't stay there again. The porches were perfect, great view, nice location but there were a few things that would have us staying elsewhere next time. The driveway is INCREDIBLY steep but there is flat parking at the top. When we arrived we removed our shoes as the sign asked but the floors were very dirty in the kitchen and the rug upstairs had a lot of fur. The cleaning left a lot to be desired. The blankets on the queen bed were visibly dirty and no Queen sheets were to be found in the house. We made due with using the twin flat sheets. There was garage left in the bathroom garbage cans which wouldn't have been a big deal but just something to be mindful of since you have to pay $60 for them to remove the garbage or take it with you. The path to the water is difficult and the steep wooden stairs only have a railing on one side. We were a party of 3 women in our 30's and didn't feel it was safe to venture up the stairs at night so didn't have a fire in the pit down there like we had hoped we could. I would not recommend this location to anyone with kids or people who may have trouble navigating the path to the water. I can honestly say I don't know that I would have wanted me dogs going down the stairs either. BUT the water section itself was great and we did enjoy the boats they provided and the dock. We would have swam for sure if it were warmer. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need to cook. Overall, nice place but definitely for specific renters.

This is a very special property, and our family loved our time here. We will definitely consider returning. The screened porch was my favorite, and the sunsets were amazing. We really enjoyed using the canoe and kayak and listening to the loons. Like most lakes, the water entry is very rocky and was even a little difficult for our dog to enter. Water shoes recommended. This is truly a quiet, peaceful, & relaxing setting. As mentioned by another reviewer, this is not a property for kids < 5 or the elderly due to the topography.

The home was comfortable with a large screened in porch ( my favorite spot ) with a large kitchen and beautiful fireplace and plenty of blankets , sheets and towels. Close to Warrensburg, North Creek and Chestertown! The driveway was really steep but there was parking on top. The property Has decks and paths to the lake that could be very young and old person challenging. It’s exactly as it looks making for a comfortable Adirondack stay .

Great, quiet location, fun swimming off the dock. Kids loved it. Couldn't use fishing poles as none were functional, need life jackets for the kayak and canoe, only one functional oar for the canoe. If this house had a couple window AC units it would have helped tremendously. WiFi was good for 4 teenagers who want to come back next year.
Manager response:
Hi, Jason! We are glad to see your kids enjoyed the home so much! The fishing poles are for guest use, and we apologize if they have not been treated well. Guests will need to bring their own life jackets at this time, and due to the rare need for air conditioners, the owner will not be purchasing any. Thank you!

Pros: nice quite location right on the lake, new towels and new shower w/ good water pressure
Cons: no electric grill, kitchen equipment old and not usable - bring own knives and pans if you plan to cook.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us! The owner is purchasing non-stick pans and will have the knives sharpened. We hope to see you again!
