Great location in downtown Belfast; easy access to condo and parking from the rear of the building. Kitchen and bathroom were well outfitted, plenty of towels and toiletries, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay but did have a few issues. Living room only had one sofa (instead of two as shown in the pictures), so seating was not as comfortable as expected. TV was not working - no response from voicemail or text sent to Vacasa agent. Turned out that the remote batteries were dead, so we had to switch them out on our own. The door to the balcony does not lock. Location for walking everywhere is perfect and it is quiet at night, but we agree with the review below that says it is miserable for the early morning daily clang of dumpsters being emptied and the frequent loud beeping of trucks backing up. FYI: This condo is for sale, and real estate paperwork and disclosures were left on the desk.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Susan, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We apologize for the issues experienced during your stay. We appreciate you reaching out and apologize for the delay in communication and service. We will follow up with the appropriate parties regarding your experience. We are sorry for any noise disruptions you encountered during your stay. Please know we strive to provide every guest with a relaxing stay and surrounding noise is often out of our control. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Well equipped, fantastic location, very well furnished, high quality finishes!

Very convenient, super clean, nice little balcony with a great view and AC was just what we needed because we were there during a heat wave - Ice maker was broken/frozen but there was bagged ice for us to use which was great. The garbage trucks and delivery trucks come around 7am and you can definitely hear it. Overall though, a great spot and would come back.
Manager response:
Hi, Julie! We have scheduled work to be done on the ice maker and will continue providing ice until it's repaired. Thank you!

The condo was very comfortable and clean. It had a lot of bonus features. the washer/dryer...lots of towels...large bed... and when I needed tape I found it in the desk drawer. There were those thoughtful touches everywhere that made it instantly livable. Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, relaxing apartment with thoughtful amenities and details. Walking distance to charming Belfast village with great restaurants and shops on Penobscot Bay. Close to busier sites like Acadia, Bar Harbor and Camden without the crowds. Will come here again!

We enjoyed our stay at 303. It is a beautiful condo and very well equipped, with a beautiful Bay and harbor view. The decor is pleasing. Being in downtown Belfast allows one to enjoy all of the wonderful eateries and shop with just walking!

We found Belfast Maine to be the perfect vacation spot this year, and hopefully many years to come. This property was immaculate, and the location couldn’t have been better. We instantly felt like locals, and the farmers co-op market across the street was ideal for picking up fresh local produce! Fantastic!

Overall this is an appealing apartment, and - if you can plan ahead to deal with a few strategic gaps - makes for a happy stay. Although this unit has assigned parking, that info is not provided until you're in the apartment (and wrongly parked). While the fridge has ice machine, it's not hooked up & there are no ice trays. And a call complaining about this placed on Friday afternoon (well before close of business) was never returned. Location across the street from the Co-op is great for grocery shopping, but miserable for the early morning clang of dumpsters being emptied, and the frequent loud beeping of trucks backing up. Also, while you're asked to run the dishwasher before you go, no soap tablets were provided for us. But the location is super, views are nice, furniture comfortable.
Manager response:
Amy, thank you for taking the time to review your stay, we are so glad that you enjoyed our beautiful home and had an overall great stay with us. We apologize for any aspects of our home that you found needing a bit of attention or that detracted from your stay with us. We greatly appreciate your feedback as a means to improve and will ensure that there is more information provided regarding parking at the home, that there is an ice tray or working ice machine, and that our high standards on customer care and follow up calls are being upheld. Furthermore, please know that while we do appreciate when guests do some tidying before their departure, it is never required and is only mentioned as a courtesy for our local housekeeping team. We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our check-out instructions and thank you for identifying these other areas for improvement. We hope to have the chance to better impress you in the future.

Our trip to Belfast was lovely thanks in part to the wonderful well appointed accommodations at the Belfast Bay Inn. Everything was perfect!! The location couldn't have been better. Very central to downtown Belfast which allowed for easy access to the wonderful restaurants, shops and very friendly folks we met. Additionally, Belfast is centrally located allowing for coastal day trips to Camden, Rockport and Rockland. Heading east, it was a little over an hour trip to Mount Dessert. Thank you Belfast Bay Inn, we will be sure to make a return trip!!!

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. The home was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen is amply stocked with utensils and kitchenware. The internet connection worked flawlessly. Perfect getaway for a couple!

The shower products were amazing. I’ve already been on line looking for them. The home was beautiful and for our five days there we felt right at home. I didn’t do 5 stars because internet did not work for us. Even when we called and were told it was working for other units it did not let us on for more that a few seconds. This would not be tolerated for someone who would really need this premium option. Also there was black mold in the a/c units. We called about this as well and was told that someone would come and clean it. That didn’t happen. Luckily the temps were agreeable for most of our days so we didn’t push the issue. But that REALLY needs to be addressed. Others than that the place was perfect. I would like to suggest that you put a grill in the back court. We would have loved to have been able to grill out and enjoy that garden area more

The condos were renovated with top quality bathrooms and custom draperies, bedskirts, upholstery, and comfortable beds and seating. Stylishly done in upscale French Country. The kitchens also beautifully done. They supplied all we needed in the kitchen (thanks for the coffee!) and the toiletries in the bath were very welcome. Easy access with the elevator, parking easy and convenient, and 303 has a lovely view of the water from the interior rooms and a nice little balcony. Since it's at the back, you can see how nicely the surrounding buildings have added nice apartments and decks, a little village you can't see from Main Street. Lots of shops, restaurants, the library, and post office all either right outside the door or in easy walking distance. Just need to get a booster or additional router for the internet.

This was extraordinarily clean and comfortable. The bed and sheets were heavenly. The suite was amazing. Belfast is a cute little town and we enjoyed our visit.

I made reservations for a weekend respite away from the demands of daily life. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt completely relaxed. I stayed in a 3rd floor suite, which had all the usual amenities and more. The towels and bed linens plentiful. There is plenty of closet space and a lovely open concept living area. I'm not easily impressed but this charming spot is exceptional. I've texted photos to friends and family and with my highest recommendation. You'll be delighted too!

Living in Maine means lots of visitors during the summer months, but during a rare lull, my husband and I decided we needed a nearby getaway. We randomly chose the Suites at Belfast Bay Inn and could not have been happier. The inn was beyond our expectations. Highly recommended!
