Staying at Gretchen's place was a real treat. The place is virtually 100% as it shows in the pictures. Coming from a family that likes to learn constantly, this place is filled with all kinds of books, literature, art work and other treasures that will definitely expose you to new thoughts, if you leave your mind open.

I have to say, looking at the artwork and poetry throughout the place, made me stop and ponder various elements of life as the days went on and as you pass from room to room. There are plenty of games to play.

There is actually 2 half baths which was an added bonus as well as a bathroom for each of the three bedrooms.

Things to note......the entrance is on the lowest level with a 1/2 bath, an office and a family room with tv. Second level has a huge sitting room with a great warming fireplace, kitchen, dining area, laundry room, 1/2 bath and a master suite. The third level has two bedrooms at opposite ends. One with a queen bed has a walkout balcony!!!!!

The beds were comfy. There furniture was comfy. The scenery of the place, was nestled in the woods, where deer would make their way into the yard throughout the day.

The management team was very helpful.

The only negative, but definitely not a deal breaker, is the fact that the heating and cooling elements for the second floor bedrooms, was right outside the side window next to the bed and you could hear the unit throughout the night.

The place has a great location....we drove 45 minutes to Mackinaw City and then over the bridge to St. Ignas. Overall an hour of driving each way.....perfect!! Also, there are some great eclectic places to eat and see downtown, Harbor Springs.....and you must visit Tom's Moms Cookies!!!!

You do get one side of the two car garage.

After staying at multiple locations over the past 15 years and dealing with various vacation rental companies, this place ranks in our top 5!!!!

Great home, lots of room for 6 adults. Loved having our own bathrooms for each bedroom. Very clean! Fall views were beautiful, along with the deer right out the window evening and morning. Add a little snowfall, very cozy and comfortable. We would stay again in a minute!

Just around the corner from the Birchwood G&CC clubhouse and a very spacious house. We did have an issue with the kitchen not being clean, but the local Op Mgr responded quickly and sent a cleaning service right over. It seemed to be an oversight and the rest of the house was spotless.

Lots of space, great kitchen and bedrooms, lovely setting in Birchwood Farms, and close to everything. Great for a family and a friend gathering!

Really loved staying here. Close to Harbor Springs and the Ski Areas. Will stay here again. My only hang up is that the cleaning crew put away a very dirty pot and the prior renters coffee was still in the carafe.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review! We're glad that you enjoyed your stay. We apologize that some details were missed while cleaning - we have addressed this with our staff to ensure it does not reoccur. We hope to host you again, soon!

Beautifully remodeled kitchen with everything you will need to cook and entertain. The bedroom layouts were great with the en-suite bathrooms. The proximity to Town and to Ski resorts is such a plus to the property. We ran out of time and didn't get a chance to use the club facilities but they looked quite nice.

Nice kitchen and living spaces. Clean, comfortable, fully furnished, plenty of spices, etc. Easy booking and communications. I’d stay there again. Some notes: There are 3 levels and the entrance is on the lower level. One bedroom on 2nd floor and two on 3rd floor. Also, garage space is limited (can’t fit a full size SUV) and one side has a car in it.

Everything was great. It was perfect for our few nights away. The set up was great for our family and the kitchen was perfect for family dinner. Walking distance to pool, club house and swing set - which was a plus for our kids. We can’t wait to come back.

We loved this place! It was clean, decorated very nice with a lot of personal touches that we enjoyed. 3 couples stayed for a family wedding we all had plenty of space for private time and enjoyed watching the deer in the back yard when we were enjoying our meal. In town Harbor Springs was fun and we also enjoyed the tunnel of trees and nearby winery.

We really enjoyed the Treasured Hideaway home. As promised, it was very close to the clubhouse, allowing the kids to freely come and go as they liked. It is evident that this home is very well cared for with its bright interior and beautiful flowers. It is very spacious and has a gorgeous and well-equipped kitchen. The owner and rental company both left great suggestions for restaurants, things to do, and tips about the home. The staff at Birchwood was also very kind, efficient, and helpful. We hope to come back again in the near future. Thank you for providing us with such a beautiful setting for our summer vacation.

Three (3) couples shared this home for a destination wedding weekend in Harbor Springs. The setting is lovely, the home met our needs perfectly. We had lunch in Harbor Springs on Friday - like being in a picture book for the day -and drove the 20 mile "Tunnel of Trees" - photos taken along the lake - such a beautiful setting. Then a Welcome Party @ nearby Pond Farm & Winery, ceremony @ Catholic Church in downtown Harbor Springs, and the wedding reception at the Birchwood Farm & Country Club on Saturday evening. We know we would have loved exploring the neighborhood even more.
