Recent Long Beach vacation rental reviews

Clean room, plenty of sleeping space, extra pillows and blankets. Loved having 2 bathrooms and we loved the big beautiful windows. Lots of wildlife to watch around the pond. We saw deer, geese, ducks, and we even saw crows run a bald eagle away! It was so wild! The deer were frolicking and playing all 4 days we were there. Loved the short walk to the beach! My only complaint is the microwave did not work, I used the oven and stove but a fan over the stove would have been lovely. The outlet the microwave was plugged into was the problem, we tried plugging other things in it to figure it out, no breakers were tripped. Loved that the building is not on the main road and it was very quiet and tucked in the trees. We can’t wait to come back again!

We loved our stay in this quiet, clean, light-filled rental. The view and location was stunning....we loved being close to town and beach, but away from crowds.

Where are our Long Beach, WA vacation rentals?

The Long Beach Peninsula stretches for 28 miles, with beautiful sandy shores on the Pacific side and the wildlife-rich Willapa Bay on the other. At the base of the peninsula sits the charming town of Long Beach, Washington State's most popular beach town and a favorite getaway of Seattleites and Portlanders alike. Long Beach is just over three hours from Seattle and two from Portland, making it a convenient destination from either city. Although technically in Washington, it's easy to explore the best of the Northern Oregon Coast from Long Beach; historic Astoria is only half an hour away, and popular tourist destinations at Seaside and Cannon Beach can be reached within an hour.

Things to do near your Long Beach, WA beach rental

Within thirty minutes of your Long Beach vacation rental sit a number of splendid state parks, recreation areas, and a national wildlife refuge. Among them is Cape Disappointment State Park, one of Washington's most popular destinations and home to the Northwest's oldest lighthouse, jaw-dropping views of the mouth of the Columbia River, and some truly excellent fishing. To the north, Leadbetter Point State Park has some of the region's best birdwatching along the northern shore of Willapa Bay, plus several miles of hiking trails and opportunities for crabbing and fishing.

Although a small town, beach house visitors can eat very well in Long Beach. The Aloha Charlie Fish Company offers perhaps the best clam chowder and pan-fried oysters in town, but they have plenty of healthy competition! A few minutes outside of downtown Long Beach, The Depot in Seaview and Pelicano Restaurant in Iwalco offer more upscale dining. For rainy-day entertainment, it's hard to beat the iconically kitschy Marsh's Free Museum (home of Jake the Alligator Man), but the Long Beach Peninsula is also home to a kite museum and a cranberry museum, dedicated to the region's productive cranberry bogs.

For a Pacific Northwest beach rental surrounded by natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and dining & entertainment options, a Long Beach vacation rental can't be beat.
