This is an amazingly quite location with a spectacular view! Our family of 4 had a great time and hope to return. The only 2 things I would recommend - softer sheets on the loft bed and bug repellent. The bugs were so bad in the evening we had to stay inside. Other than that it was a lovely stay!

Orcas Island is heaven on earth in my eyes. And the view and peacefulness of this cabin confirmed this. I can't rave enough about the view - it really was the best part. Sipping coffee and wine on the back patio was magical. Sunrise and sunsets were fantastic. The bed and bedding were comfy as well, we slept like babies. The kitchen was basic but had everything we needed. Two drawbacks to this place - one was that it wasn't as clean as I would expect. Floors had lint and dust. Blankets by the couch had dog hair, rugs and dining chair fabric were stained. Other surfaces were clean though. The other was the drive up the mountain - a price you pay for such privacy for sure but if you are looking for an easy drive to/from town, that it is not. The windy steep climb was a drive we didn't look forward to. But having known this in advance, we would have planned more meals and relaxing things at the cabin. Would book again though.

The views can’t be beaten. The location was really lovely and the drive up was not an issue. I would agree with some of the others that it could have been a bit cleaner. There were a lot of cobwebs and the floor could have used a sweeping. There was also some dirt/stains on some of the bedspreads. Not a deal breaker but for the price I would have expected it to be tidier. And bring your own coffee because there was not enough for even a cup. We’ve gotten used to having that supplied, which is maybe an oversight on our part. Seriously amazing views though.

This cabin has an amazing view and is private and secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. It isnt the easiest to get to and the housekeeping leaves a little something to be desired because the floors definitely needed to be swept and there were lots of cobwebs, but the view from the deck and through the windows is gorgeous. We had deer visit us while we drank our morning coffee and enjoyed beautiful sunsets.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Dusty! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the view. We apologize if you felt the home was not on par with our cleanliness standards. We would have been happy to address any areas in need of additional attention during your stay had we been notified. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!

I was sad to leave this cabin. For my visit, the weather was gorgeous so there were stunning view in every direction. The cabin has a well equipped kitchen with the bonus of a grill for cooking on the deck. I also appreciated the hiking recommendations and highly recommend the hike to the Mt. Constitution summit directly from the cabin. It's a challenging hike but definitely worth the effort for the spectacular views and the joy of not driving to the trailheads in the park.

This cabin was super cute! It's really high up and the VIEWS are freaking amazing. It's also close to a lot of the restaurants in Eastsound (~10 min drive). The only downside I would say is that the water was really smelly -- sulfur. We weren't sure if this was contaminated water so we didn't shower for the 4 days we were there unfortunately.

Serene home on Buck Mountain. Would revisit.

The drive up up and to the end of Buck Mountain really brings you to epic views, a critter wonderland and a home that will make you feel so cozy that you might just want to say nestled up in your birds eye mountain top nest. Great fireplace, sweet loft and a porch that makes you stop and do nothing for a good long while. Perfect for me and my family.

Quiet, great view, clean, and comfortable master bed. Three mile drive up steep winding mountain road to get there, but the quiet was worth it.

We loved how quiet and secluded the cabin was! We saw so much wildlife, and loved grilling on the deck with the beautiful view.

The cabin is cozy and has a great view! The beds were very comfortable, the master in the loft overlooks Puget Sound, with Vancouver BC and mountains in the distance. I didn't want to leave, it's a magical little place. Perfect for a family or two couples who want to get away from it all. We will be back!

Lots of great hiking around Orcas Island!

The cabin is cute, comfortable and has everything you need. The view from the deck was beautiful and the seclusion of the location was very relaxing. I appreciated all of the details for making the cabin welcoming for us and our dog.

Got to enjoy a spectacular storm.

Great place. Remote. Twisty drive up the mountain, but it's a cool drive and the view from the top is gorgeous. Didn't want to leave.

This place was perfect for us, the right size and fabulous view. Everything we needed was there, beds are very comfortable, and once again, the VIEW, pretty much Canada to Mt Baker! It is up a narrow winding sometimes gravel road, but still close to Eastsound. We'd definitely come again.

A well stocked cabin the radiated warmth. The view was magnificent, and even though there were neighboring houses just over the hill, we felt totally alone out there.
