Property was nice and comfortable. Back porch and hot tub were relaxing. Cabin had everything we needed.

Perfect location from pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Property manager was very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely be going back to this cabin in the future!

Wild at heart is in a beautiful location and the cabin is just as beautiful.
Donald T. Oct 2021
Wonderful relaxing time with my husband. Everything we needed secluded yet convenient to Pigeon Forge. If there had been a fire ring it would of been absolutely perfect.
Thomas C. Oct 2021
This secluded cabin is in the perfect spot away from all the noise. The hot tub and jacuzzi were really nice although the jets did not work in the jacuzzi. Just keep in mind that there is very little cell phone service here so if the internet is down you will not have service.
Manager response:
Thank you for choosing us for your stay, Thomas! We are delighted that you enjoyed the cabin and its location, though we regret to hear that you had difficulties operating the jets for the hot tub. Please know that we are available 24/7 to assist you with any questions or concerns. We look forward to having the opportunity to host you again for another relaxing getaway!

No noise except for nature sounds, watching lightening bugs.
Kelley M. Jul 2021
The cabin was in the perfect location! Very nice and secluded but close enough to town to do fun activities.
Joel B. Jul 2021
Very private and quaint cabin, reasonable distance to the parks/restaurants
Cory P. Jun 2021
Very cozy and secluded cabin was fantastic clean and had all the accessories needed. Would stay again.
Michael D. Jun 2021
This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. Everything we needed with no fuss. We loved the surrounding area and the creek was so relaxing! We were also delighted to see fireflies in the evening! There were quaint shops and food trucks within a short driving distance.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Secluded and surrounded by trees. Cozy and clean cabin. We had been looking forward to soaking in the hot tub and grilling steaks for our anniversary. However, when we had arrived the hot tub was not set up and there was no propane in the tank to grill. The wifi also stopped working on us the first night. Which could be expected with country living. Only made me slightly nervous not having any service and no wifi. Vacasa did refund us $90 for the hot tub issue. We were only able to call about the hot tub since the wifi died later that night and found out about the propane on the 2nd night.
Manager response:
We are very sorry you weren't able to use the hot tub and the WiFi. It is always our goal for our guests to be able to use everything the home has to offer. We hope that the refund that you were given has helped with some resolution for the issue you experienced.

I liked the cabin design and decor. I liked that my husband found the book "Wild at Heart" and read it and liked it.
I liked that we were close 'enough' to stuff to do, but yet far enough away to get away. I really wished the hot tub outside had worked. But I had read other reviews saying it was a gamble that it would work or not. Too bad!!! I loved that there is a little creek that runs right next to the cabin and it is tranquil to listen too. We LOVED the fact that this cabin is nestled in the woods in such a way, that you can’t see your neighbors! Total privacy. It is a small cabin, but perfect for a romantic getaway. Everything was clean & we settled right in. Loved the keyless entry! Less than a 10 minute drive, and you are in the Smoky Mountains National Park! Cute little shops in Wear’s Valley if you prefer to avoid the crowds of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. They are also close by, offering a variety of things to do. We just enjoyed the solitude & went hiking & road trips through the park. Saw a Mama bear & two cubs during our drive through Cade’s Cove. We vowed to make this an annual trip! Would definitely stay here again, as long as they upgrade the mattress. (Back aches every morning)

Was not impressed by the handling. As tge heat barely worked 3 days of our trip and the hot tub was broke but its a lovely home very peaceful
Manager response:
Hi, Terry! Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear of the unfortunate issues affecting your stay and apologize for the inconvenience. We have had vendors come to the home to address the hot tub and thermostat, and both are back in working order. We hope that the compensation provided was sufficient and well received. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

This cabin is absolutely adorable and it was almost immaculately clean. The pool table, hot tub, and overall layout of the cabin was just perfect for the two of us on a getaway. It would be pretty tight for more than 2 people, as the bed and living room area are all one room. There also wasn't a ton of yard space for our dog to go to the bathroom, but it was still a house we would very much like to stay in again! It took us around 15 min to get to pigeon forge (basically just down the mountain a bit more) and 25-30 to Gatlinburg. We had a great stay!!!

Loved everything about that cabin. We came from Florida and we were so excited because our husky never seen snow or experienced low temperature environments. The cabin was absolutely amazing. They thought of everything. Everything is there for you, even pizza cutters and oven mittens. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.

The cabin was very clean and so cozy. The only bad thing was the internet went out the second day ☹
Whitney S. Nov 2020
The cabin was clean upon arrival. It is about 10-15 min from all the actives. There are some mom and pop restraunts up the road. Give them a try they are great. It is very peaceful when in the cabin listening to the ditch of water run.. There is no phone service so you get to spend all the time together. There was internet but it did not work while we where there.

This cabin is very quaint, nestled between two steep hillsides. A creek runs alongside, almost under the house itself. A catwalk traverses the creek onto the covered front porch. The entire area is secluded, with low traffic and dense brush. There is limited space for cars, but they installed a small turn around / parking area on the shoulder across the street that helps a lot.

We enjoyed our stay as well as the ability to have our pups with us. The jacuzzi tub is a neat feature and the upstairs loft adds some extra space. A hot tub was one of our search requirements, besides being dog friendly. It did not disappoint. Also included is a ROKU streaming device that allows guests to log in to Netflix and Hulu. The cabin definitely has a lot of charm, and is in a good proximity to many local attractions. The nearby town of Wears Valley has a lot of character and what feels like more of a "soul" than Pigeon Forge or Sevierville. Luckily, "Wild At Heart" is located on the very edge of both.

There were two of us and our dogs for our stay. We had a few problems, most of which were minor. Our biggest surprise was that the water from the faucet contains minerals and sediment that we did not anticipate. We acquired bottle water for the duration of our stay. Another problem was the high humidity inside of the cabin. It rained all day our first full day there, and our clothes did not dry during that entire time, even while laid out on racks. There is not a washer and dryer, either, which was also fairly inconvenient. Also, visitors that like to cook should be aware that there is limited counter / dining table space when planning meals. The cabin, though small, feels very big thanks to its high vaulted ceiling.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit "Wild at Heart" with its unique charm again. Thanks for having us!

We booked this cabin for our honeymoon and it was so great. Perfect amount of space for 2 people and the hot tub and whirlpool tub were definitely highlights! Easy to get to everything and so easy to book!
Jon W. Sep 2020
Cabin was great location and very secluded for our base camp for the week. We rode our motorcycles on all the great roads through the mountains, it was great!
Emily G. Aug 2020
My family, dog included, stayed here this past week. The cabin looks just like the pictures and was very clean. WiFi and even a Roku TV! I loved it because it felt very isolated because of how it is positioned in the trees, but it’s a 3 minute drive from a major road with restaurants and gas stations and about a 15 minute drive to Pigeon Forge with a ton of touristy stuff. It’s also a 30 minute drive from Great Smoky Mountains National Park which was gorgeous and I highly recommend visiting if you stay here. The only thing to note, and most reviews mentioned this, is it does use well water so if the smell and taste bother you, just buy some water from a gas station or grocery store. But don’t let that deter you, the place is an awesome home base for all the attractions near by while also offering some very cozy privacy!

I loved the location and the short drive to the heart of town! It was beautiful and so peaceful! My fiance and I needed a get away and this was perfect! I will be coming back to Wild at Heart.
David W. Aug 2020
The location of this cabin is perfect for whatever you would like to do in the area.
Nathan H. Jul 2020
The cabin was perfect for us. We liked the location in the woods and the two porches.
Tyler Z. May 2020
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful and secluded cabin for a long weekend getaway. Although we spent most of our time outdoors in the park area, we felt very at home here. We would not hesitate to return.
Chassity W. May 2020
We loved the Seclusion that it offered. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a bear outside underneath the back deck one morning. This place definitely is a must!
Alaina C. Mar 2020
We absolutely loved this place. It was so peaceful. The only problem was the upstairs for the pool table was a little bit to small to have a pool table in. It was hard to play because of the walls and my husband kept hitting his head on the rapters lol he is really tall tho. Other than that we had a great time getting away for a couple days.
Beth V. Mar 2020
Nice and quiet. Not right next to anyone. Close to everything
Derrick M. Mar 2020
The cabin was just as showed. Perfect for a couple. The pool table is wobbly and has no chalk. But we still played a few games. The light in the hot tub does not work but the porch light does. The fireplace timer does not cut-off. So our romantic fire that should have lasted an hour while we went to sleep, stayed on for hours. We woke up roasting! It took hours for the cabin to cool back down. Our fault for leaving it going I guess. Just know, turn it off before going to sleep. The cabin was easy to find, clean, and just what we were looking for. We would stay again.
Ashley M. Jan 2020
The cabin was in a great location, close to the attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet; very clean and well stocked; only missing a star because the house was not built for the winter temps; but the hot tub was an awesome plus!
Manager response:
Hi Ashley, we're so glad to hear that you had a good stay in our home! We apologize for the home not heating to a comfortable temperature during your stay. We hope to host you again soon!

I just returned from a stay at Wild at Heart and I was completely satisfied with our accommodations. We arrived and ordered some groceries from Publix who had no trouble finding the place. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing weekend and the beautiful hot tub with rain bouncing off the tin roof melted all of our stress away and washed it down the small but pleasant-sounding stream that glides beside the cabin. We enjoyed playing pool and just chilling out on the front and back porches. I took the dog for a nice stroll up and down the road in front and enjoyed identifying the different fauna that surrounds. We had a great weekend!
