We really wanted to love this wonderfully decorated cabin and studio. While it was aesthetically pleasing, the problems beneath the surface started to arise from the moment we arrived. To keep this short, the list of issues included: a broken toilet, a broken sliding door lock (safety issue), a broken kitchen sink faucet (which flooded the room), and a broken dryer. To top it off, the owners failed to approve of the broken faucet replacement in a timely manner so we could not use the kitchen sink for 2.5 days (out of the 4). And last but not least, the place was not thoroughly cleaned as there were a few plastic wrappers and a presumably used ear plug on the floor, indicating that the place was not even vacuumed. We spent half of our vacation time dealing with all the issue and inconveniences. An unfortunate experience due to their lack of maintenance and their poor response.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying in one of our homes! We are sorry to hear of the issues you encountered during your stay, and we understand how frustrating this can be. Since your visit, the toilet, sliding door, faucet, and dryer have all been repaired and inspected by the local maintenance staff to ensure future guests will not encounter these issues. We apologize that our team was not able to address these concerns in a timely manner. Our team was able to issue a refund to you for your troubles. We appreciate your feedback, and we hope to host you for a more enjoyable stay in the future!

Location is awesome, both houses very clean, and all the necessities. The view is great with access to everything needed and desired. We will definitely stay here again when return.

This place is one of the nicest, cleanest, newest places you’ll find in Tahoe Donner. While I appreciate the *tahoe theme* with antlers and log furniture, this property is different and more my taste. Clean lines. Tasteful. Modern & new. And the extra living space was such an amazing surprise. My mom was with us (2 families) and she could not only sneak upstairs for her own quiet time - she had her own BEAUTIFUL apartment with a kitchen, beautiful bath, gas fireplace and equally gorgeous furnishings. I confess I spent more time up with her than I did down with the kids and family - provided such a nice respite!!

I would 100% rent this place again. Tahoe without the Tahoe kitsch. AMAZING!!! Thank you Jack & Gracie!!
