The home sits about a 10 minute winter drive from downtown Breckenridge and the Breckenridge ski resort high atop the western facing slope of Bald Mountain. With one garage space and scope for two more on the drive, there is room for all your group. This is also one of the most convenient properties on Boreas Pass and Baldy Road for the FREE half hourly shuttle service on the Summit Stage bus. Just a few moments' walk (150 yards on the quiet local road, and less through the trees in summer) from your front door takes you to the bus stop linking to the town, the ski hill gondola, Frisco and beyond, providing direct access to all that Breck has to offer with return up to 1.00 a.m. Whether skiing, shopping, dining, watching the local ice hockey team etc, all members of the group can be free to travel when they want rather than arranging cars.
There is easy transport to the ski hill, for skiing and mountain-biking depending on the season. Local trails for snowshoeing, ski touring, hiking, biking or dog walking are within moments' walk from the house. Investigate the mining history of Breck with two local gold mines accessible on exhilarating local walks. Breck boasts a wealth of both artisan and branded shops, as does nearby Frisco, whilst Silverthorne outlet parks offer the bargain hunter some rich pickings. Seasonal options for Nordic skiing, downhill skiing, mountain-biking, snowmobiling, dog sledding, fishing and golf are all within a short drive, and nearby Lake Dillon offers water-sport opportunities during the summer. Breckenridge also offers stables for winter sleigh rides, or summer horse-back riding. For the serious adventurer, there are a number of 14'ers for you to hike in Summit County.

The huge wrap around deck provides a glorious sun trap, is perfect for taking in the air, and outdoor seating for 12 and the Weber gas grill is there for all to use. Plenty of options to allow everyone their choice of vacation, maximizing enjoyment for each and all. Mountain views, star filled skies, local birdlife visiting the deck, and the gorgeous neighborhood fox, create your entertainment, or sit back and be entertained!
Unlike most properties in Summit County, our owners welcome responsible and considerate pet owners, and will consider allowing a dog (and possibly two by exception and separate agreement). If you are traveling with a dog, please include details about the dog in your inquiry. Useful details include breed, weight, gender, and description of temperament. Non-refundable pet fee. Dogs must be caged if left alone in the property, are not permitted on furniture, and any associated damage or cleaning requirement will be charged separately.

Parking Notes: YOU CAN PARK UP TO THREE CARS AT THE UNIT. That means one in the garage and up to two immediately outside the garage. If you have additional vehicles, you may park them at the pay lot at the ice rink on Boreas Pass Rd. There is a payment kiosk at the lot. Excess vehicles, or any vehicles that are blocking the neighbor's access, will be ticketed, stickered, and/or towed. Space for three vehicles is not guaranteed; if only one vehicle may be parked outside the garage without blocking the neighbor's access, then excess vehicles must be parked legally elsewhere.
