This beautiful 17th-floor gulf-front vacation home includes balcony entrances in the main bedroom and the living room, both of which lead to a large patio with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Other features of this upscale and Bahama-style home include granite countertops and stainless steel appliances that include a French-door refrigerator. The main bath includes a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and twin sinks. Each bedroom and the living room have TVs and DVD players. Guests have the option to work out in the fitness center, play tennis on two of our secured tennis courts, relax in our outdoor pool, swim laps in our seasonally heated lap pool, grill burgers on one of our poolside charcoal grills, or just unwind in the outdoor hot tub.

This was our first time staying in Perdido Key and if you are looking for a quiet spot this is it! We really enjoyed there not being much traffic and the wait for dinner was never long.

The unit came with beach chair service—call on the way down to reserve your chairs as they are not automatically reserved with the unit.
The balcony is amazing! The lounge chairs were a bonus as it was great for our morning coffee.
The pool was clean and not crowded. There is also a lap pool if you are looking for some water exercise.
The master bed mattress was awful. I mentioned it to the office and they reached out to the owner and requested a mattress topper which was brought to us within hours of letting them know if the issue. This helped for my comfort but my husband could not sleep in the bed at all, even with topper. I appreciate the owners trying to make it better but I feel a new quality mattress is the next step for future guest comfort.
Now on to the parking—the main lot is small. There is an overflow lot across the street. GET THE CODE TO THE GATE AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE! We came back one night from dinner to find that the lot needed a code. I called the after hours number and they were absolutely horrible. They told me that we needed to park in the overflow lot and provided the address and it was a 12 minute DRIVE. With only 1 car this was absolutely not and acceptable answer or resolution. The after hours number should 100% be able to provide the code to work the gate at the lot across the street. A 12 minute drive would be a 30+ minute walk back to the unit and with 2 small children that is unacceptable.

We would stay here again, but not this specific unit unless we knew the beds were upgraded.

The gate codes are provided in the check-in email sent out to guests before arrival, and they are also provided on the packets with the parking passes inside the rental. We do have a front desk staffed from 9-5 each day of the week to assist guests with any questions or concerns. The mattress has been flipped, and we have purchased a mattress topper for those that like a softer bed. We hope to see you again!

This condo was amazing! There was enough room for everyone. The bedding looked new, mattresses were nice, bathrooms were roomy and clean. I would definitely recommend this condo and stay her again. I loved the shopping center across the street. It was easy to walk to. My only complaint was the parking issue. There was never anywhere to park at in front of the condo. It definitely helped having the parking lot across the street that was well lit. I highly recommend this condo!

Pros-
The view was amazing from the balcony. Absolutely stunning. Loved that the condo included beach service. The beach was rough most days but my older kids loved that. On the few days it was calm the water is absolutely beautiful. We had two incidences of jelly fish stings which of course is no ones fault but they were everywhere this year for some reason. The condo is very close to essential shopping which is always a plus and Orange Beach and Gulf shores are a short ride away. The Jellyfish restaurant across the street was really good. The views and the sandy white beach are the only reason I gave 2 stars.
Cons-
Check in is a nightmare. You will absolutely under no circumstance get to check in earlier than 4pm. Even if the condo wasn’t occupied to day before and is clean and ready to go your door code will not work until 4. Then at exactly 4pm when the door code works the rest of the condominiums are also trying to check in and using the maybe 8 carts for luggage and using the ONLY 2 elevators that service the entire building. This is also assuming you find a parking spot that’s not across the street. We saw that the beach attendants and cleaners parked in the tiny parking lot in front of the building limiting customer access even further. Finally got to the room and had to wash the dishes before using them from stuck on food on silverware and glasses. Had the pleasure of cutting my foot on a rusty nail in the sticky carpet in the master bedroom. Beds are super uncomfortable and hard. We have rented several condos over the years and I know we will never rent another Vacasa property. The condo is overly priced to have so many inconveniences.

While we have no records of any issues being reported, our home manager has checked the property and didn't find any nails coming up. We have addressed the cleanliness oversights you found with our housekeeping team. We understand that sleeping preferences vary widely and we are sorry to hear that the bed did not provide for a comfortable night of rest. As indicated in our listing, check-in time is at 4 pm. While it may look like the room is ready and the housekeeper has finished before the set time, it can actually be leaving to return with missing linen or amenities, etc. Or the home may be awaiting a final detail from a maintenance technician or a Senior Housekeeper to swing by and conduct an inspection. We apologize for the disappointment this caused and we hope we can have another chance to host you in the future.

This was a great place for my husband, my daughter, and my self. We do wish that the king bed was a little better (way too firm and a bit lumpy for us), that the pool armbands were removable (they are on for the entire stay once you put them on), and that the smaller bedroom had a blackout curtain (there is a light that is always on right outside the window that was only covered in a paper shade, and we had to hang a blanket over). Other than those things, it was a beautiful condo in a great location. We would be happy to stay again!

The condo was very clean, spacious and had a beautiful view of the ocean. I would have given it a 5-star rating, however the couch was a little broken down and difficult to get out of. It should be replaced. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

First the good: Great view. Comfortable bedding. Great location. Nice layout of the condo. Great pools. Not so good: Had to
Call maintenance SEVERAL times bc DW was broken as was the garbage disposal. They were in and out of the condo Multiple times. The linens had a large yellow stain on them in the master. The sofa bed was left UNchanged when we arrived. Sheets covered in chip crumbs and long hairs. Master bath had long hairs in it. The kitchen was not well stocked at all. The pots didn’t have fitting lids and were warped by the heat - thus not secure on the burners. Very frustrating. We have been coming to the area for over 10 years. We have always stayed at a Brett-Robinson property. Tried something different this time. I regret it.

We have stayed in a few places in Perdido Key and this has by far been our favorite! Reasonably priced. Gorgeous view! Love the master bathroom! We will definitely be coming back!
