New Orleans is a great city! This home had ample room for the six of us who were there. Close proximity to downtown. Will use Vacasa to book another trip.

We had a great stay. The house is clean and roomy. Perfect for 8 guests. Nice quiet and safe neighborhood with a quick 10 minute drive to the Quarter.

For the price, it was much better than getting hotel rooms. The house is older and needs many minor repairs, but did not affect our stay. Most of the doors did not latch, so even when you locked a bathroom door, it could just be opened. One closet door fell off when opened, we just closed it again and didn't use that closet. All in all it was cheaper than getting 3 hotel rooms and had a lot more room.

The house was easy to access and communication before arrival was great! The amenities were quality and the layout was perfect for our group to unwind and still have our own privacy. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We also loved the the travel time to popular attractions.

I did not love anything about this stay, the fence needs repair and our dog got out twice. We found cement debris in the yard to plug the holes (that should tell you something about the yard).
Johnson, the manager, helped take care of some issues, like disposing of the burned and scratched pans that were left with food debris in them, and brought new pans. He even bought a small gas grill for us to use as there had been a grill shown but it was unusable. He tried but this place needs some major work. The kitchen countertop is chipped and gross. I wouldn’t put food on it and bought mats to cover it. The kitchen rug was gross and needs to be replaced. The manager brought in a cleaning crew to rewash the floors. Definitely was not worth the money we spent in spite of a $400 refund. Beds and pillows were comfortable but the king has a noisy plastic covering. Towels were fine. Furnishings are minimal as was shown in the pictures.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Patti. We’re sorry to hear that the home was in this condition upon your arrival - please know that this is not the regular standard for our properties. We attempt to be as transparent with our listings as possible and provide accurate and current photos, amenities lists, and descriptions so guests can make an informed choice about making the right decision for their needs. We have addressed your concerns with the local management to ensure that our standards and expectations are being met for every guest. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

This house seems like a work in progress, but worked out really well for our family because our 15year old Wheaten Terrier needed easy access to go outside to the fenced yard. It was a perfect distance to all the action while still feeling safe and secure. Those traveling without dogs might be more concerned about some of the minor details that didn’t bother us. We enjoyed hearing the church bells ringing, but the traffic was a little noisy. Overall, we had a terrific visit and would highly recommend for families traveling with their dog.
