Fuel up with some Loco Moco from Nalu's South Shore Grill or mahi mahi from Coconuts Fish Cafe, both just over three miles away. Just over four miles from the condo, guests can visit the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary and learn about the local work done in the area to help native species.

The condo was spacious and bright. Great location to some amazing beaches and snorkeling, close enough to walk to dinner, and just accross the street from the marina where a number of tour boats left from, Condo was private and quiet, A great retreat when wiped out from the sun. Having AC in the living room and bedroom was a real treat. The kitchen was well appointed and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

The condo was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The location was perfect -- not right in the commercial area but close to several great beaches and many shops and restaurants in Kihei and Wailea.

Grounds were lovely, pools were very nice, kitchen had everything we needed, but condo could have been cleaner. And there was only 1 sheet for the pull out sofa. I requested two sheets and did not get them ( we were there for 5 nights).

This home is kept very tidy and well stocked. It is one of the most roomy places we’ve ever stayed on the island. The kitchen is great and having two patios, two bathrooms, a dining table, and a full-size fridge is a real bonus. We would stay at this specific condo again if the owners would invest in a new bed and perhaps consider new AC units. The mattress is in terrible condition with large divots where people have slept. I strongly recommend moving to a good foam mattress that will recover use by many people. The AC units are both a bit musty so we would cool off the bedroom before bedtime while we were in the living room. The first night, we had the AC on which was blowing directly in my face and I almost got an infection from it. Fortunately two patios doors and two fans can help on cooler nights. These are important considerations for our health as two older adults 55plus.

We were quite thankful to have the extra space as COVID cases rose and made us more hesitant to go out and both space and steady internet as one of us had to close our vacation with a couple of work meetings.

We loved the Maui Kamaole property and found this unit to be ideally located. No great views, but very private and perfectly situated between both pools and an easy walk down to the beach (if you like going for a bit of a jaunt). The unit also felt spacious and well laid out.
However, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness, maintenance, and furnishing of the condo. When we arrived late Sunday evening, we found that the sofa bed had only a sandy bottom/fitted sheet on it. There were no extra sheets to be found in the whole place. For a unit advertised as having two beds and sleeping four, this is baffling. To make matters worse, we could not get through to anyone on a Sunday to help remedy this issue, so we went out first thing the next morning to purchase detergent and wash everything ourselves.
We also came to realize that the unit had not been well cleaned in other ways: significant dust bunnies under furniture, living room rug covered in pet fur or shedding fibers (hard to tell but gross with crawling baby), and outdoor tables grimy.
Sheets, utensils, dishes, etc were all mismatched sets, which is not a big deal but does give the unit an outdated, budget feel.
Overall, we felt this unit provided the minimum expected for the property and price, but we hope attention can be given to these issues to bring it to its full potential. The MK property really is a gem in Kihei and this unit well located in it!
