Home was way more then expected. Beautiful park line setting in the redwoods with a lake and home had everything you needed and so much more. Our family grew up in McKinleyville and all moved away years ago; when we needed a last minute place to stay couldn’t believe our luck finding this home big enough to accommodate 3 families and allowed dogs to boot. The house was spacious and comfortable; the decor couldn’t have been more perfect; everyone enjoyed the activities in the game room and exploring the incredibly gorgeous property. This was my first time renting an entire vacation home and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how it turned out. Thank you soooo much for sharing your amazing home with us.

Home had everything you’d need; there were plenty game & activity options for both kids & adults, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of space, and comfortable beds. The outside space was also beautiful, with lots of seating and activity options. A favorite was taking fishing poles to the pond and fishing off the paddle boat. Highly recommend this home.

We have been staying in many vacation rental homes over the past 15 years and this property is a true gem….. even better than the pictures! The welcoming home is immaculate and very well appointed. Everything you might need from the superbly equipped kitchen to games galore for the whole family (including ping pong and more in the garage) to an easy walk through the redwoods to a pond complete with a pedal boat. And, even though you feel quiet solitude while at the home, the location give easy access to all of the attractions in the area. There was plenty of room for our family of 9 and all the beds were very comfortable. Check in/out was very easy. And, best of all, the Bigfoot footprints in the dirt on our walk to the pond were a huge mystery for our grandkids! Thanks for sharing this terrific property.

Our extended family including 5 adults and 4 teenagers spent a week at the house in July. This was our base of operations for exploring the area to the north, west, and south. The location was perfect as it was easy to access tons of outdoor adventures within an hour drive. Meanwhile, we retreated every evening to our private oasis in the woods.

The well-appointed house is filled with amenities including a chef’s kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. A game room fills the garage with ping pong, foosball and basketball. A small pond in the backyard features a paddle boat in a small pond that also permits fishing (with polls available in the garage). The two living rooms offer TVs from Group` viewing while a third space allows for quiet lounging.

Screened windows that are easy to open allowed us to let in cool air, which made the house flow from outdoors to indoors. The house was immaculate - crisp sheets, shower curtains, towels, etc — it seemed as if everything was brand new.

We considered the visit to the Redwoods to be a one-in-a-lifetime visit, but this house was so perfect that we are already talking about a return.

This home is beautiful and comfortable. It was the highlight of our day to return to a relaxing home after hiking and exploring the Redwoods. The house was clean and so nicely decorated and the management team was very attentive to our needs and responded to our question on how to use the main tv and when we couldn’t find the iron and ironing board they dropped one off that next morning while we were out. Much appreciate the service and hope to come back again with more family to enjoy this beautiful house.

The house was roomy and very nice, everything you need to cook, clean and bathe was available. Had the most fun on back patio enjoying the sunshine. Must say the road down from the house was a blast too, like a roller coaster ride in our 12 passenger van. Worth every penny!!!

The setting is breathtaking and you can’t help but relax! The property is huge and filled with old growth redwoods, ferns, and greenery. Plenty of spots to sit outside and a wonderful covered area with a bbq. The pond is a bonus and we had a ball peddling the little boat around. The house is well appointed and has many cute decorations and details. We loved the Bigfoot theme-so cute and unique. The house is close to the beach (15 minutes) and we LOVED the restaurant, Fieldbrook Market and Eatery, Like three miles from the house. FYI-they also do take out. They had live music one night and they have great food. Try the Rueben or a burger. For those that like to gamble, there is a casino 6 or 7 miles from the house and we had a nice dinner at Alice’s which is located in the casino. Just so you know-the internet and phone service is a little spotty but was ok for us. The house is on ten acres and is a little secluded but we found that to be a plus. There are lots of places to go and things to see within 20 minutes of the house, but to be honest, we ended up really enjoying just being at the house and relaxing amongst Bigfoot’s redwoods. Thanks for the wonderful stay-we will be back!
