Take a short, three-and-a-half mile drive southwest to the darling lakeside town of Tahoe City for several dining and shopping options as well as easy access to a variety of ski fields and sledding parks for every type of wintersports enthusiast! Skiing and snowboarding is also available at both Alpine Meadows and the Olympic slopes of Squaw, Granlibakken, Northstar, and Homewood. Come summer, discover a variety of other activities including fishing on the Truckee River, rafting, and extensive north lake Tahoe bike trails are accessible right outside the entrance to the condo complex. And if you're feeling lucky, pop into the casinos located just nine miles north in Crystal Bay, Nevada! Parking Notes: Two Parking Spaces - SNOW REMOVAL - During the day, if a car is parked outside the unit and there is snow to be cleared, there will be a fine of $50 IF there is no one in the unit to move the car when the snowplow comes. In that case, if a car is to be left during the day when there is new snow on the parking space, the car has to be left in the overflow parking lot and moved back to the parking lot outside the unit when the plowing is done Chains or a 4x4 vehicle will be required, depending on the weather. Please check road conditions in the winter months to see if they are needed. Please adhere to CalTrans traffic advisories during winter storms. Traction tires or four-wheel drive may be required. Please refrain from parking on the street. Vehicles may be towed if they're blocking snowplows from clearing the road.
