What started off as a misunderstanding and bad experience, turned into a great time all due to Dillon.

When we arrived at our place, we realized it was really only a “hotel room.” we were expecting a small place, but with a kitchen. We had already bought some food and was hoping to cook dinner. There was no “front desk” so we could not talk to anyone directly.

I found the number for Vacasa and left a voicemail, which I did get a response to the next day. I had also been contacted by the manager who welcomed me and gave me the contact info for Dillon, who would be able to help if I needed anything.

Dillon went above and beyond in getting what we needed. He asked for a list of items I would need for cooking (the unit only had a microwave and a small fridge) and he delivered them the next morning.

We did not even have coffee or a coffee maker in the room when we arrived. Dillon even offered to pick up coffee for us from a local bakery in town. Like I said, he went above and beyond.

As for the room itself, although it was small, it had a great view and a nice big bathroom. The shower pressure is very weak, although the tub is great.

We also had trouble locking our door. Basically, it didn’t work. Not very comforting, even though we didn’t have any valuables to worry about. Also, there was another family across the way and we shared a main door. That door did work, but you had to make sure you locked it. We talked to the family next door so they would be sure to lock that door.

We were on the first floor next to the ice machine, which was great.

The property itself is kinda confusing as it is shared with the hotel, but nothing at the hotel (pool, etc) is accessible for the “condo” guests. Also, it is very hilly. Steep hills. But we did visit the museum at the hotel and walk around. They also have live music in the evenings. It’s worth checking out.
