The place is wonderful, the view is amazing, the location is very good for us because we wanted to to be close to kings beach and other places for us to go to. The house was clean BUT Some dead insects were found in the corners of the rooms. Internet was very poor but it’s Thur location of the house. Usually anyone who wants to go to Lake Tahoe you should know that the internet speed is very bad over there and make sure to ask about the connection before reserving any place. The property managements are professional, they keep checking in on us by text messages and you can call them too! They reply 24/7 and I really liked their hospitality. Locations was great - can easily get to multiple slopes quickly, Overall, house was pretty clean, though a few major stains in the carpet throughout the house than was a bit undesirable to look at. New kitchen appliances and well stocked kitchen was great, especially if your family likes to cook like we do. Unfortunately the cleaning crew did not stock the bathroom with hand soap, but we found the stash in the closet and was good after that. Best space in the house was the upstairs loft, set up with it’s own TV lounge and bathroom. Our teenage boys enjoyed having their own space. Beds lines were nice and cozy.
Downside: 1) freezing downstairs especially in the bathroom. They really need to put in a heat lamp so guests don’t go into shock after stepping out of the shower. 2) BAD smell downstairs. pest control came by, couldn’t find anything, but said something probably died behind the walls. TurnKey basically did nothing to accommodate. I get these things happen, but at least put some candles or diffusers, anything to help manage through the smell until you find the problem. 3) Many lightbulbs were out in the kitchen and deck. I called TurnKey and they said they’d send someone by, but no one ever came. 4) suspicious charge hit my credit card afterwards. When I called about it, the rep told me it was due to the smell. WHAT? Then she changed the story and said it was due to not telling them we brought our 2 dogs. WRONG! My copy of the reservation clearly shows I was charged a pet fee. Then, she told me that I was wrong . . “Impossible” that my profile was incorrect. Forwarded her the copy, and then she changed the story to not charging me the pet fee at final payment. Well, here’s a thought. How about you get your facts straight before you tell me, the customer, I’m wrong.
Would I stay here again? Only if the address the issues. Otherwise, NO. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We had a great time. Had a wonderful view of snow-laden trees. The house was clean and even though it allows dogs, there was no dog smell. We could squeeze ten people around the table. Lots of plates, silverware, cups. The boys hung out upstairs in the loft, which can get hot with the fire going. There`s a ceiling fan, but we couldn`t figure out how to turn it on. The kitchen is well-equipped (including ninja blender and hand held blender) and the non-stick frying pan worked. Sheets were good quality and weren`t scratchy. Only complaints were poor wifi, knives were dull, the stove was an older model with ineffective countertop fan. Steep driveway and unplowed neighborhood roads got icy, so chains needed, even on all wheel drive. An SUV with a top cargo carrier cannot fit in garage but a subaru wagon with cargo carrier could..just.
