Cache at Union Creek Condo w/Mountain Views, Shared Pool/Hot Tub, Walk to Lifts

For year-round enjoyment, this Copper Mountain condo offers a great central location to the mountain town activities of Vail, Frisco, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Silverthorne. It is located right on the Vail Pass Bike Path to the west and the Frisco-Breckenridge Bike Path to the east for summer biking enjoyment. The free Summit Stage bus can be utilized year-round to access all of Summit County while Vail is a short 25-minute car drive over the pass. Outlet shopping abounds in Silverthorne and Lake Dillon is nearby with water activities. Hiking and mountain biking opportunities abound right outside this mountain condo in the summer with alpine and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, and dog sledding available nearby in the winter months.

Walk just 3 minutes and access the Union Creek lifts! You’ll also find a plethora of dining and shopping options at Center Village – a 5-minute walk away.

The second bedroom is outfitted with a twin-over-full bunk bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and a flatscreen TV with a Blu-Ray player.

In summer months, make use of the gas grill and dine alfresco at the four-seat table on the covered patio.

THE LOCATION

Enjoy a prime location on the west side of the resort, the Cache at Union Creek is a breezy 3-minute walk (700’) from the Union Creek base area, ski school, and Woodward Express lift! Parents will appreciate “Kids Night Out' offering complimentary evening childcare with games, activities, and pizza.

The Center Village is a 5-minute walk from your condo and includes a plethora of dining options. Find everything from Starbucks Coffee to Irish Pubs.

Access to the nearby Copper Mountain Athletic Club & Spa is available for a nominal fee. Amenities include workout areas, a pool, and spa.

Venture approximately 8 miles to Main Street in Frisco to discover more restaurants and shops.

Parking Notes: There is 1 designated on-site parking spot at the unit. It is labeled 1-101 and is a handicap spot BUT is designated to your unit solely.
Parking spot not available until 4 pm day of check-in and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of check out.

Any additional vehicles must be parked in the north alpine lot at the resort entrance. Orange parking passes for this remote lot can be obtained in the unit or the transportation center at North Alpine Lot. Guests are responsible for obtaining and filling out additional vehicle passes in the event Copper Mtn has run out.
To register for on-site vehicle parking (limit-1) please follow the below instructions.
Parking at The Cache must be registered through the new Parking Attendant:
You must register your vehicles and guest vehicles to park in our community. Failure to do so may result in tow, immobilization, or fees
Once guests are in the Condo they will need to scan the QR code featured on the refrigerator magnet.

This is a great condo in the West Village, so easy access to many of the green runs and ski school that we used for our first time skiers. It is close enough to walk back for lunch. The kitchen is probably the best stocked rental kitchen I have ever seen. I was concerned that it might be dark on the first floor, but there are plenty of windows that give it enough light. It's also nice to be on the first floor and not trek up and down stairs with all the ski gear.

We had a couple of maintenance issues that they took care of promptly. The only negative is that the mattresses really need to be replaced.

Overall, a great stay, and I would recommend this condo highly.

Overall, I`m happy we stayed there. The location was great. The accommodations were great, but there were a few things that detracted from the experience:
1. after we went to sleep, the hard-wired smoke detector started beeping. After disconnecting it, I saw that it was 3 years over the 10 year life span. Good luck going back to sleep.
2. When the temp got above freezing, the snow from the roof leaked through the second floor stairwell roof, through a light fixture, through the floor and directly in our walkway/doorway. It was all ice, all week. The matt was frozen through, but the best way to get through the door. The other places were black ice - impossible to see, but VERY slippery. The first time I walked through it I slipped and fell.
3. We got maybe 3-4 rolls of toilet paper.
4. I planned on sharing a car with someone else during our stay. At some point, someone parked in the spot allocated for our condo. No idea how to report or get that taken care of.
5. I`ve rented before through VRBO, but talking to Turnkey was like talking to AI operators. There was no wiggle room on anything. I sat outside the room from 2pm - 4pm. It was already cleaned and ready to go but the rule is NO EARLY ENTRY... no matter what. I couldn`t even use the ski closet to drop our stuff off. Normally, the timing wouldn`t matter but with the massive snow storm, our schedule got blown up. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
