Mix a drink at the minibar and relax by the wood-burning fireplace in the TV area. This space is furnished with a sofa, armchair, and 42' cable TV with DVD player.
The second living area features a sofa and an oversized armchair, as well as a kid-friendly play area with a piano, desk, and toys.
KITCHEN & DINING
Whip up meals in the well-appointed kitchen, equipped with a full suite of upscale appliances.

The upstairs bedrooms are accessed via two narrow stairways and have very low ceilings (taller people will need to duck).

Find a basketball hoop and a playground with swings and monkey bars in the large backyard.

During the winter, Homewood is an easy half-mile away, while the slopes of Squaw and Alpine Meadows are within 13 miles.

- Parking notes: Please note that during the winter, Hwy 89 is closed at Emerald Bay due to avalanche danger. If you are arriving from Hwy 50 in South Lake Tahoe, you'll have to drive around the whole lake in order to access this home. Placer County prohibits the parking of all RVs, trailers, boats, snowmobiles, or other recreational vehicles at the property. Guests are encouraged to seek out alternative parking with California State Parks or local marinas. Parking is provided for a maximum of 3 in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted.
