This condo has three bedrooms that sleeps six total. Three full bathrooms are stocked with complimentary starter supplies of toiletries.

The master bedroom is outfitted with a king-size bed and includes access to the balcony, a 42” flat screen TV with cable, walk-in closet. The en-suite bathroom is complete with a double vanity, jacuzzi tub, and large walk-in shower.

A second bedroom has a king-size bed, 32” TV equipped with cable, a closet, and en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

The third bedroom includes two twin beds, 31” TV with cable, a closet, and direct access to the third full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA

Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open to the private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This covered space has jaw dropping gulf views, and is complete with an outdoor dining table and six chairs. A community grill area is also available for guests at the San Carlos condominiums.

EXTRA AMENITIES

Parking is available for two vehicles in the outdoor parking lot next to the building. An in-unit washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided.

The property was clean! However there was construction going on that we were not told about and we had to park across the street! Even tho our instructions told us to park in front of building! This condo is in dire need of and update. The entire condo needs to be painted, the refrigerator was nasty, the kitchen sink drips constantly, the kitchen counters are in terrible shape, the tile grout is nasty throughout, the ceiling in the master bedroom is split almost all the way across, the sliding door from the den to the balcony will not close completely so it can’t be locked. This rental absolutely exceeded expectations. I brought my children and a couple of their friends to the beach for our fall break. This condo had everything that we needed and more. The view was INCREDIBLE! It was so nice to be able to easily open the sliding glass doors onto the ocean. The kitchen was really well stocked with various equipment and small appliances. The bathrooms were great, the beds were very comfortable and the living room was spacious. We accidentally locked ourselves out of one of the bathrooms and Turnkey, the rental company was so helpful and was able to come open in for us. We used the pool and the beach access was really well managed. I could walk across the street to a market to buy anything that we didn`t get at the nearby Walmart. We will definitely be back! Pros- within walking distance of several restaurants including The Hangout (my middle school kids liked it) & right on the beach. Also 6th floor so the elevator situation wasn’t too terrible. Air conditioner worked well, fridge stayed cold, kitchen was fairly well supplied with utensils.
Cons- This place is not nearly as nice as it appears in pictures.
The balcony door was broken.
The drapery pull was broken & laying on the floor.
The sheets were very poor quality, very rough & scratchy & kids wouldn’t even sleep under them. There were even BLOOD STAINS on sheets in two different bedrooms!
There was mold on the ceiling.
No kitchen trash bags, we had to use grocery store bags.
No hairdryer- in fact, not much of anything outside of the kitchen & some tiny hotel sized shampoos, conditioners & soaps. I’ve stayed in several condos & rental houses & this was the first time I’ve stayed someplace where there were no beach toys, chairs, etc. Description says there are towels but not very many & no beach towels at all. If you want it, you better bring it!
Dryer barely works. We had to run our laundry through minimum 3 cycles each load to get our clothes to dry.
I have pictures of all the broken items, stained sheets & molded ceiling but it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to upload them. Overall was expecting better as it was one of the pricier options & did not feel that we got anywhere near what we paid for. Definitely dissatisfied. Would not recommend.

We really enjoyed our condo in San Carlos. It was the perfect size for our family of 5, and it was very clean. The location was perfect; it was right on the beach! We did have a little problem with service. We had to call for trash bags, dishwasher soap, and hand towels. We did receive the bags, but never had the dishwasher soap or towels brought to us. We had trouble obtaining the keycode for accessing the unit. We received two different keycode... Thankfully we tried both and one of them worked. The directions we received for entering the keycode lacked the information that you should press # prior to entering the keycode (at least the written directions lacked this info)--luckily we tried that on a whim.

The shower head in the master bath is pointed directly out of the shower door so water is always shooting out of the door and pooling on the floor. When you open the shower door to turn the shower on and let the water warm up you get blasted with water and so does the floor. This can`t be helped because... well... you have to open the door to access the knobs. We elected to stop using the master shower after the first day because of this issue. If the shower head could have been moved to point in another direction this would have helped. Also, you can see in the grout on the floor where this has been a long-term problem because there was mold in the grout lines.

Many of the air vents were either dirty or had mold on them.

The beds were comfortable as well as the furniture. The layout of the unit was great.

The pool is nice but very crowded. There is very little walkway around the pool so you are constantly having to shift around as others try to walk by. Not exactly relaxing.

The beach is ok. It is crowded (at least it was in late July) and we noticed cigarette butts and other trash such as plastic bottle caps on the beach.

Condo was beautiful, but experience with TurnKey left a lot to be desired. No parking passes or wrist bracelets left in conco. & this was after answering TurnKey`s email request for # needed. Took 2 phone calls, 2 texts, & 1 email over 2 days to get parking passes. And during that time we got to worry that car might be towed.
