House was great. Location to Pompano and Fort Lauderdale beaches was less than 2 miles!! The pool and backyard was a plus right on the canal - very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks for having us.

This home looks beautiful but it is very dirty and needs updates. They have poor quality pots and utensils. If u plan to cook I suggest bringing your our cooking utensils and pots. The pool area was dirty. Cigarettes in the fire pit and the outside cushions were so old and dirty you could not use them. The pool needs to be cleaned. There were small lizards inside of the house and water bugs. I wish I could share the pictures. The air conditioner in the master bedroom needs to have the filter cleaned. We did not even cut it on. During a time of Covid cleaning is of upmost important. I am awaiting a refund of the 20 daily for the pool Because it was so dirty we could not get it!! Don’t go here. We were very disappointed. Upon arrival of this home, we were immediately put off by the location. The surrounding area is run down. The house was unkept. Our first impression was an old dirty door mat and a front door that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The blinds on the front windows were broken. When you walked into the house, it was decorated nicely. However, there was dirt and smeared hand prints all over the walls. The kitchen had no dish towels or wash clothes. There was “junk” in the cupboards. The main bathroom tub was in bad shape. The fans for the “hot back bedroom” were broken. There was no where to plug the tv in in the master bedroom. The venting and duct work in the house was so old and dirty I worried that it could be harboring mold or didn’t work and there could be a carbon monoxide risk. The door leading to the pool area was dirty top to bottom. The pool area was unacceptable. Filthy dirty! All of the furniture was worn, torn and/or broken. The landscape had broken glass in it, dirty socks, etc. the “water fountain” did not work and was full of junk. The pool was filthy. Debris was in the pool. There was a flickering light in the pool. No pump was running . We were concerned for the safety and well being of our family! Electric shock in the pool was a major concern! We did not feel safe In this home. It did NOT reflect the description or photos published.
I reached out to turn key and told them this was unacceptable, falsely advertised and unsafe! Over two weeks later I finally was able to talk to an actual person. They said the best they could do is refund the cleaning charge! I am still pursuing this issue. Renters beware!!!! This has been nothing but an absolute hassle and rip off! I am beyond disappointed with TurnKey Vacation Rentals! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

From the time we walked in the door we had problems. The house was warm. We discovered the back bedroom vent was not blowing any A/C. The floors were filthy if you walked on them with bare feet. The master bedroom has a wall unit A/C . The vent cover in the main bathroom was hanging by a chain. The patio furniture is old and molded. There was debris and broken tile in the pool. On the morning of the 2nd day we tried to fix breakfast and realized there was a dangerous gas leak in the oven that brought tears to our eyes standing next to it. On the final day the middle bedroom got infested by a swarm of bugs. Perhaps because of the a/c inspection the night before.

Photos were sent to customer service repeatedly. Managers refused to respond. After missing the first scheduled appointment for 7:30 p.m. for AC repair, we were offered a 1:30 a.m. repair slot, yes, after midnight. We refused and asked to be scheduled the next day. At 6:00 p.m. the following day

AmeriGas came out and told us the cleaners keep putting tin foil in the oven blocking the escape vent for excess gas. He said it is very dangerous and had been reported twice before.

Shortly after, the AC repair arrived and told us he was unable to access the attic to inspect the duct because wire shelving had been installed in the closet blocking attic access. We repeatedly tried to reach a customer service supervisor and still 3 days after the end of our stay we have never received a call.

Turnkey is a dangerous, unresponsive company that risks your life at the same time as ruining your vacation.

I was very excited about this vacation home when we arrived. The house is in a great location and from first impressions it was in great condition. It was clean and well decorated. It was also really spacious and equipped with everything that we needed.

My issues started with the pool. I called a few days before checking in to request that the pool be heated, and paid extra. When we arrived the pool was cold so my plan was to call in the morning. I called to inform Turn Key property management and was told that it would be fixed, and that I’d receive a return call with details. I spent the next two days calling Turn-Key nonstop and being told that someone would contact me. I was never contacted, and the pool was never fixed. No one from Turn-key ever called and I still have no resolution.

I paid an extra cost to have the pool heated and I feel ripped off. This really ruined the trip for my friends and me. The customer service was horrible and I’m disappointed in turn key. After 6 calls I’ve still not be contacted. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

property description was accurate but not maintained as expected. Certainly not luxury accommodations or `gorgeous` TV in the master room broken and left in the closet; the TV in the guest room was disconnected; and no TV in the 3rd bedroom. light bulbs were needed in 2 of the rooms and the shower was left broken by the maintenance team and we had to call customer service to have a plumber come to replace the shower spout. I literally spent 2 days of my 4 day stay on the phone with customer service. The team eventually came with a new TV for the master and it was left by customer service in the living room with no attempt to install. We left it there. The house was not as clean as expected, particularly given the COVID environment. I rented the house last year and had to cancel due to COVID and reschedule this year--I lost 400.00 in the process. The rules about putting out the garbage and leaving towels in the washing machine to help the cleaning team were not welcome giving the difficulty we had getting through to customer service for assistance. In a nutshell, I would never recommend Turnkey to anyone as it the property was not as advertised and the customer service was lacking. There were numerous issues. The TV didn`t function as advertised, the washer did not work, there was no iron in the house, the outdoor furniture is broken and moldy, the stove did not function properly, there are no lights on the rear patio, one of the outside doors didn`t lock properly, There are wires hanging out of the walls inside and out, there was dirty laundry left next to the washer, The cleanliness was OK but the overall maintenance was vary bad. We checked into a dirty property on June 18th. There was no hot water and both showers had lizards in them. I called and was told someone would be out the next morning to work on the hot water. I wasn’t contacted until 11am. Jose said someone would be out within an hour to look at the hot water but we had already left the property. Upon early check-in at a hotel we showered and I found bites all over my son from the bed bugs inside the home. I’ve sent pictures and gotten no resolution from your representatives. I was told that a local supervisor would contact me. No one did. I’ve called numerous one wants to help. We need a refund due to the conditions in the home. Since there was only 1 review before we rented, I am assuming this is new to VRBO. When we arrived, the place was ready and we could enter without a problem using the key code that the company provided. No check-in required, which was great. The house was decorated nice and very clean. (I would not recommend young children (toddlers) for this house since there was alot of breakable decor and glass tables everywhere.) The beds and bedding were comfortable. Loved the large couch that converted to a sleeping area.

Upon arrival, I messaged the rental agency and asked how to turn the temperature up on the pool because it was very cold. They responded that the pool does not have a heater!!! The description of the house, specifically says `heated pool` ??? The next morning, I again texted the rental agency about the discrepancy in their description on the house. I had an 8 year old and 11 year old boy with me and the ONLY reason I paid more for this house was because it said it had a heated pool. They then messaged me back to say that they had misinformed me and that the pool can be heated...but still did not inform me of how to heat it...then, they tell me to check the home droid tablet for the pool instructions...I tell them there are no instructions for heating the pool. An hour later, they tell me that they have reached out to their local team and will get back to me. 11 hours later, they text me and ask me to be patient! Somebody showed up at 8 pm to supposedly turn the heat up..
We now had 1 day remaining to use the pool. The next day, the boys were excited to use the pool...finally....and it was still freezing!!

The place could be better with some simple additions. The location is nice that you can walk to places like Dunkin Donuts, Publix, etc..adding bicycles would be a nice touch.

Adding pool toys, balls, games, etc would be great .

Adding fishing poles would also be a nice addition.
