Recent Peoria vacation rental reviews

The location was perfect to reach 4 stadiums for Spring Training games within 30 minutes. The patio furniture was comfortable so we could enjoy sitting outside to read and soak up the wonderful sunshine.

Our family of 5 loved this home! It was a perfect getaway. We stayed for 7 days and my 3 boys were never bored-we loved the privacy and the location was great-went to a few spring training games. The pool/hot tub and big backyard were perfect as well as having a basketball hoop and a game room. The layout is great and we had all had space. Very clean, well designed. Was nice to have towels/laundry room/etc. Being able to park in the garage was a bonus so kids could play basketball! Close to grocery stores/mall/shopping so lots of options for eating out. Kitchen was well equipped with everything if you wanted to make meals-lovely outdoor dining and my kids loved the orange trees and making fresh OJ. Would definitely rent again-we had a great time! Highly recommend.

We loved the home. Very spacious. Loved all the games provided. The back yard was fabulous with the beautiful landscaping and of course the pool and hot tub. Great time was had by all.

Where is Peoria, AZ?

Peoria is a city and a major suburb of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Its boundaries extend north to encompass much of Lake Pleasant, and south where it shares a border with Glendale. If you're flying in for a visit, the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is just 18 miles southeast of the heart of downtown Peoria.

Things to See and Do in Peoria, AZ

At the northern end of Peoria, you'll find Lake Pleasant Regional Park, home of the 10,000-acre reservoir originally created by the Carl Pleasant Dam back in the late 1920s. Visitors can spend their days paddleboarding or water skiing, and this lake also hosts exciting speedboat and hydroplane racing events as part of the Arizona H2OMG Festival at the end of February.

For additional sporting events, the Peoria Sports Complex hosts spring training for the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres, and you can also find the Arizona Cardinals stadium close by over in Glendale, just a short drive west. The Coyotes, a professional hockey team, also play nearby.

Golfers will want to challenge some of the courses throughout the area like the Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, the Quintero Golf Club, Peoria Pines, and the Lakes Course at Westbrook Village, among many others.

Lastly, there are plenty of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment within Peoria and also in neighboring communities, including Surprise just nine miles west.
