After a day spent picking apples and lavender, exploring downtown's galleries and boutiques, or learning about the first major gold rush in the United States, you'll come home to a tree-lined property that welcomes you in by way of a covered front porch. Step inside to find a living room with plush seating, a flatscreen TV, and a gas-powered fireplace to warm you as you play board games in the autumn and winter months. Just beyond is a dining room table for six and a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a two-person breakfast bar. Outside on the deck is another bistro table for four - a wonderful spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with a view of the sloping lawn.

There's a primary bedroom suite on the first floor and two more bedrooms - including a bunk room thoughtfully outfitted for kids - on the second floor. Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer and WiFi throughout the house.

We really enjoyed our stay here and may have given it 5 stats if not for a few small problems. There is only one entrance in and out if the home, the front door. This ment we have to walk up and down the hilly walkway to load and unload our belongings. That wouldn't have been a big problem but some of the stones in the walkway are loose making it dangerous to walk on them. The walkway also is very slippery when wet. I also think that the one entrance is a hazard in case if fire or other emergencies. The icemaker doesn't work in the freezer. We had to buy ice. We were not informed that it did not work. The biggest complaint I have has more to do with the management company. I paid for Monday thru Wednesday. We were not allowed to check in until 4 pm. Then we were required to check out by 10 am. I was charged full price for 3 days and 2 nights and only got the equivalent of 2 days and two nights. I have stayed in many of these homes for 4 years now and the checkin time is generally 1 pm and check out is 11 am. I don't believe we will use this company ever again.

Our local team is available to assist if you encounter any unpleasantries during your visit, and we would have been happy to address these issues had we been aware. We will be sure to inform the local manager to ensure repairs commence. Additionally, we genuinely apologize for any inconvenience with our current check-in and check-out times. Our limited housekeeping staff has a plethora of homes to clean while expanding our resting time in each home, implementing our Premium clean standards. We hope this did not put a damper on your stay, and we hope to host you again!
