Great property. Definitely a good choice for a large group. Plenty of space for adults and kids to stretch out, and the pool kept the kids happy all day. I really liked having hot air balloons surrounding us every morning, and a great patio for relaxing outdoors. Each room had a nice TV with easy access to streaming services, and we loved the dining room and central courtyard. The adults would have preferred if the pool heater was working, but the kids didn’t mind (I had spring wetsuits for them) and the Vacasa staff was very responsive- thanks DeAnna! Loved the house. Would definitely come again.

My family rented this house for a week in December. There are reasons to rent this house and other reasons to find somewhere else.

Pros- the views are amazing, especially in the mornings when the hot air balloons are out. Endless hot water for showers. Quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of town. Walmart delivers here. So many wineries are super close. The kitchen is stocked adequately enough to get you by. The beds and couches are pretty decent. The internet and TVs worked well. There is a good amount of parking. The house was clean when we arrived. Accessing the house key was relatively easy.

Cons- the pool heater didn’t work and it was far too cold to use (I would guess the pool temp was 45* F). The pool fountain didn’t work. The pool guy came by and said he’d fix it when no one was renting the place out (that sounded like he wasn’t getting to it soon). There are not extra pillows or blankets. We went to Costco to buy extras (who wants to do that when you’re paying for these things?) The place gave us a SLIM amount of trash bags. Again, why must I buy more when they should be provided? The coffee maker leaked coffee grounds into our pot of coffee every day. The dryer only worked half the time; the other half it wouldn’t stay on. It rained while we were there, and it came in through the doors and made a huge mess and created a hazard on the tile floors. The house layout is functional but WEIRD.; there is a lot of wasted space. There were a lot of small things in the house that needed to be fixed that made our experience lackluster- the bedroom door with the bunk beds wouldn’t shut easily and it woke up the people sleeping in the room next to them. Half of the toilet paper holders are broken. The screens on the doors don’t work. The washer and dryer gave us trouble. The dishwasher was basically useless. So MANY lightbulbs were burned out making it difficult to see in some areas. If you have a larger group, plan on getting supplies that should have been provided like hand soap (why wouldn’t there be hand soap in all bathrooms?!), toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. And if you’re cooking there isn’t really food storage containers, so bring your own. You pay a cleaning fee, but have to do a fair amount of cleaning before taking off.

We rented this house as a halfway point between San Diego and Irvine. That was a mistake because the traffic is always awful. However, if you’re not looking to travel far outside this area, the traffic is not bad at all. Some people may think “duh!” We should have known better, but we didn’t.
Manager response:
Hi, Ashley! Thank you for staying with us. We're so sorry some items were not up to par. The pool is heated through solar panels, so there isn't a lot of control in our hands over how warm it gets. We wish you had let us know about your other concerns so we could assist you. The property manager is getting everything assigned to maintenance so they can be addressed. We hope to host you again!

My family had a wonderful time while staying at this beautiful home. This home was very comfortable and roomy. We cooked dinners in every evening due to covid. There were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. All beds were super comfortable, with plenty of bedding and towels. The views were just beautiful and we especially enjoyed the hot air balloons almost every morning. The only time that we had to call seabreeze was something beyond their control, due to high winds the evening before calling them. Many debris were blown into the pool. They were very responsive to our call and showed up to the home very timely. We would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to rent. Thank You Seabreeze for our third relaxing vacation through your company. The Souslin family This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
