The house was beautiful! Decorated tastefully and the beds were very comfortable with a gourmet kitchen!! It was located walking distance from downtown and a short drive to many sites. The communication was great! I would rent again

Large home but felt warm and intimate due to furnishings and wood beams & floors. Modern kitchen and master bathroom. Comfortable bed. Fenced back yard. Interesting range of books throughout the house. Quiet with street parking easy to find. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Neighborhood felt safe. One block from Volunteer Park.

We arrived to this amazing home and Mitch had turned on the lights and heat. It was so welcoming.

This home is several blocks from some great bakeries & shops. The house has a lot of charm and there was plenty of room for our family. The kitchen is big and well stocked. There are nice sitting areas and a big dining area. It is a quick drive to the heart of Capitol Hill and close to downtown. The host was very helpful and accomodating. The only improvement would be the entertainment system. The TV is older and only has cable so we could not stream any movies. It is on a fairly busy street busy street but there is ample parking.

My family thoroughly enjoyed the house. Really tasteful and period correct furnishings and artwork. Beds were awesome. Amazing bathrooms. Gourmet kitchen. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay at this early 20th century mansion in he midst of Seattle`s affluent Capitol Hill neighborhood. The kids felt moved back in time, much like being part of the aristocratic circles in Europe, thanks to the residence`s sophisticated wooden craftsmanship, hardwood floors, spacious living, dining, and bedrooms. Walking distance from this beautiful home are cafes, corner stores, grocery shops, and vibrant street life, while the neighborhood itself is quiet with magnificent trees and views overseeing the lakes surrounding the city. A great retreat and genuine treasure. We stayed at the house four nights: Sep 3 through 7, two adults, two kids. Yes, the house was clean and tidy.

This incredible historic home in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle is perfect in every way. My partner and I stayed there several days, and were blown away by the spaciousness and beauty of this home. It has been immaculately restored. Additionally, the location is perfect with many cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance. We also took advantage of the proximity to a beautiful park across the street. If you are looking for a taste of Seattle, this house is perfect.
