Gulf-Front Family-Friendly Condo w/Balcony, Great Views, Shared Pool & Hot Tub

Grand Pointe 711 is special. Start with a luxurious King master suite that accesses the gulf front balcony and a Queen BR that assures a good night sleep after a hard day of relaxing on Grand Pointe's secluded beach front. Begin your day with breakfast on a balcony over looking Perdido Pass that is the size of a small nation and furnished so well, you'll not want to get out and start your day. After a lazy morning watching the yachts and pelicans and dolphins come and go, you'll need to decide to take a walk on the beach or catch some rays at poolside. The well appointed kitchen makes a quick lunch easy so you can get back to the business of laying around or for the more ambitious, there are many fine restaurants nearby. Now to decide what to do next: the indoor or outdoor pool, the sauna, or the steam room, the exercise room, or the indoor or outdoor hot tubs. If you're thinking to come down for 3 or 4 days, think about booking an extra day 'cause it's going to be hard to leave!

The HOA/on-site facility at Grand Pointe is currently undergoing post-Sally updates and construction through August, 2022. The Indoor pool should not be affected, but the outdoor pool, while currently open, may temporarily close during some phases of construction.

We absolutely loved the place! Our only complaint was the bed. It was extremely soft and lumpy. Otherwise, the balcony & view was exceptional!! Very clean and spacious, as well.

The porch is the only positive piece of this rental. Do not rent from Vacasa. The unit was not cleaned when we showed up for our check-in. It was a nightmare to get their customer service to work with me and confirm it was going to be cleaned. I felt like I was calling a call center in India every time I reached out. They couldn’t update me on the progress and kept telling me to be patient. I was literally at the point of looking at nearby hotels to stay for the night when I got a random call that it was finally cleaned, hours after check-in. They have me $130 for my “inconvenience.” The unit itself needs to be updated. I felt like it was the 1990’s. They basically gave us 1 towel per person, and the towels were worse than hotel quality. Everything else was just par for the course. The best items for this unit was being on the beach and having that great porch that you could sit on at anytime of the day. However, I would severely warn anyone to rent from Vacasa. They do not care about you. I was hung up on by several people of their customer service agents. All they would do is put in a ticket for me to address any issue. They have your money, and they don’t care about your experience is. Go look at other comments and posts on Facebook or other sites and you will see. Spend your money with someone else.

Love the location. Condo was nice and clean. Pool was closed the whole time we were there and we were not notified of that until the week before our trip. Would’ve been nice to know when we booked. But other than that it was nice.

The view is amazing, decor pleasant and condo was clean. Sharp edges of peeling cabinets needs attention or at least add handles. Eliminating Dish channels in the middle of our rental time was frustrating. Lighting in kitchen is poor but kitchen equipment was adequate. At least one chair with back for dining table is needed. Updating of bathroom fixtures and higher toilet for main bathroom toilet should be done. Old cushions on deck take days to dry. Sliding door of main bedroom whistles when windy. No advance notice from Vacasa of door code change during our two month stay or of building construction requiring us to move our car. Fitness room equipment is old and treadmills didn’t work. Indoor pool needs thorough cleaning. And building public areas lacking in regular cleaning and maintenance. Long phone wait times with Vacasa frustration. Never had that issue with Meyer before Vacasa bought it. Otherwise we love the restaurants, beach walks and friends we have met!

It has all of the amenities. Big enough for at least 4-6 people. Wonderful beach side view. Walk down a walkway and your right there.

All of our concerns are in Vacasa’s database and the property owner has also admitted to the bed situation. We booked the unit and then noticed negative feedback from other guests about the condition of the master bed. Then we tried to get information PRIOR to our stay to see if the mattress had been replaced. I never got any information so we went to the unit and experienced the same discomfort as other guests. The unit is nice, the views are beautiful, the location is perfect, local fish is yummy, etc., but don’t expect to get any R&R if you sleep in the master bed. And don’t believe a response that says something like, “if you had let us know, we would have taken care of it”, because I assure you I was ignored and my concerns were never addressed. Thanks.

He was happy to send you pictures of the mattress for you to inspect prior to arrival along with the brand name for your research. We love staying in Grand Pointe on Orange Beach. This unit faces the Gulf and has great views of all of fishing boats, pirate ships, wave runners and everything else traveling on the water. The unit itself is charming and the ultimate "Beachy" vibe. The one drawback is the master bedroom mattress. It has a separate pillow top which "floats" on the bed. If you are sharing, you both end up in the middle. All in all, it is a great Unit.

We loved the size, style, and comfort of this condo. It was much roomier and spacious then the pictures even showed. It was a great place for our family vacation! We did notice a few spots that were not as clean as we would have expected. The second bedroom bathroom was a main example, unsure how it was cleaned as there was grim and hair all over that clearly was not the color of our children’s. We loved everything about this condo. Having a 3rd Bathroom was a big plus. There was so much storage space we were able to unpack all our clothes. Plenty of beds and fully equipped kitchen and lots of seating in LR was so nice. Our favorite place to sit though ws the HUGE balcony. We will stay there again. Grand Pointe 711 The condo was very nice with a gorgeous view of Perdido Pass and the Gulf. The complex was very well maintained. We have been looking for place that we can enjoy year after year and we`ve found it! It felt like home. We have already made our reservations for May 2022. Gorgeous grounds!! I will say, if you experience rain/storm, please put a towel on the floor by the front door. Even on the 7th floor, we had flooding inside the codo due to the excessive amount of rain This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
