Gorgeous, Dog-Friendly Log Home with Fireplaces, Deck, & Enclosed Yard

This sunny and airy home is situated in a quiet neighborhood just south of town and close to skiing. The vaulted ceilings of knotty pine, large stone fireplace, wall of windows, and flatscreen TV, make the open-concept main floor the perfect gathering place. The well-equipped, full kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and counter seating for five, while the nearby desk and chair is all ready to help with remote work or schooling. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed along with a double sofabed and en suite bath, while the remaining bedrooms are all located on the lower-level. Head up the spiral staircase and discover the furnished lounge complete with a second flatscreen TV and foosball table - sure to be the most popular indoor space for younger guests. We booked the Outdoorsy Tribe Mountain Retreat for a family holiday with the grandparents and had a fantastic time. The house is tastefully done, and the hosts have thought of every little detail to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. There was plenty to do as a family with lots of board games, books, and a Foosball table. Multiple levels of sit-outs with entertainment ensured we had enough family time and adult time. We even enjoyed the well-lit deck with a BBQ! It's a Quiet neighborhood while being close enough to markets, coffee, restaurants and more! This is definitely our GO-TO place in Tahoe now! Thank you Outdoorsy tribe for making our stay such a fun and memorable one...! We shall see you all again soon!

The home is beautiful. Gets pretty warm though, especially on the hot weekend that we went. There is no AC, and with the high ceilings, it's a challenge to keep it cool. The refrigerator doesn't work at cold capacity, so beware of filling your freezer with ice cream. It will melt. Bring a can opener because the one they have doesn't work. Those are probably the negatives. The positives were that overall, it is a beautiful cabin. Lots of space for the friends/family, and the sleeping accommodations were great. Didn't use the backyard since not accessible to the main area, but hung out on the porch.

Wow we loved our stay in this home!
As soon as you walk in you feel you are in Forks Washington and are inside Edward Cullen house with tbt gorgeous open floor plan and windows everywhere! The kitchen was stacked and even had a full spice and coffee cabinet. The beds were dreamy so comfortable. My teens had a flash in the 3rd floor loft that was stocked with a foosball table and another tv room. We try to do laundry but the washing machine wasn’t working but we were brought immediately the next day a bag full of clean towels which was a great! We loved the location and our boys had a blast playing basketball in the front yard. Loved our stay.
