Rustic Dog-Friendly Cabin w/ Private Hot Tub, Deck, Wood & Gas Fireplaces, Views

Welcome to the cabin where rustic meets modernity and convenience! This secluded and rustic cabin is located in the middle of a meadow and boasts plenty of space for multiple families or one big family.

The main living space, located on the second floor, is all about entertainment with your loved ones no matter their age or interests. Spend a bubbly evening treating your muscles to a much-deserved rest in the indoor hot tub, hang out with your bestie of the group and watch the stars in the wrap-around deck, snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the living room and read a good book or watch a movie on the large flatscreen TV (there is a popcorn machine that will make things even better!), or play a game of poker or blackjack in the poker table in the family room. You can do all of that while the jukebox plays everyone's favorite tune, or if you'd like to show off your bartender skills, you will have the chance by using the bar area with a sink and two mini-fridges. This floor also features a well-equipped kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, including a French-door fridge, stove, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, a Keurig coffee maker, and a spacious island that seats two, a laundry room with a washer/dryer combo, and a full bathroom.

The first floor of this mountain gem hosts another living space with a sectional sofa, a large flatscreen TV, and a chessboard, two bedrooms (one of them being a bunk room), and a full bathroom. And last, but certainly not least, the upper level features a loft area with a comfortable bed and the primary bedroom. This bedroom has its own gas fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and an en-suite full bath with plenty of storage space.

Great location, amazing amenities, everything you need and nothing you don't. Our family stayed at Open Meadows Lodge for 7 days during a moderate snowstorm (2-3 feet) Between the copious amounts of TVs, fireplaces, and the amazing kitchen we were never uncomfortable or bored. We have booked over two dozen different cabins over the years (yes it is likely time we buy one) and this property has now become our favorite. We will be booking a return trip within the next 6 months. Thank you for letting us stay at your amazing property!

Such a fun cabin! The setting is beautiful, the amenities worked, and the size was just right. I wanted a cabin in the woods, but accessible to somewhere to eat and not too far from a market. This is it! We ate at Pizanos Pizzeria at Brian Head only 5 minutes away. We shopped at the Parowan Market before heading up the canyon. The bunk beds were ideal for my kids (twin and queen!), and I loved that there were multiple places for movie night. The beds were all comfy! It was helpful that we brought an extension cord (for charging phones) next to the master bed. The outlet there is recessed which made it hard to plug in a wall wart USB charger. A wood burning fire place was also a must for me. This cabin had a great fireplace that was a nice big centerpiece of the main vaulted room. The main room also had plenty of natural light, which I loved. The other 2(!) gas fireplaces were awesome too. They were connected to thermostats so they could turn themselves on and off as needed. The decor was perfect... simple and fitting, and not in the way. The bathrooms were nice. Very clean and up to date. They had all the necessities. Two of the 3 toilets have a bidet attached. Nice for out-of-towners who are more used to that. A little bit of a mystery to us. Lol. Our stay began with a surprise squirt on our 4-year-old! 😂 She needed a change of clothes after that! There was a towel warmer in the master bathroom. It probably is nice, we just didn't end up using it. There was not a DVD player but you don't need one because there is access to Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime, etc., on the Roku TVs. I wasn't sure before we came so I packed some DVDs along. The free WiFi was helpful, as was the washer and dryer. The kitchen had most everything. There were the basic dishes, cookware, and ingredients available (I wasn't sure before we came so I brought all of our own ingredients). There was kitchen soap, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, and cleaning supplies. The kitchen drawers were very organized. The kitchen island is tile. So rolling out cookie dough was not ideal because it is not a flat surface. But we managed. Lol. (Just a heads up in case you plan on doing some baking). There was plenty of hot water. The jukebox was so fun! My son kept us listening to The Beach Boys 😀. I loved the beautiful loft area. There were a few board games and card decks available. And a pair of binoculars. There were convenient wall heaters to turn on and off, and together with the fireplace we stayed plenty warm. The indoor hot tub was ideal because it was October and too chilly outside. Watching movies while in the hot tub was so fun. However, it does make a humming noise that I didn't notice during the day but had to get used to at night. I loved hearing the leaves fall onto the roof and the trees swaying outside. The deck was nice and big. Plenty of room for our hammock and hammock stand. There are neighbors next door but it still seems secluded. There was an outdoor fire pit but we didn't end up using it. There is a baby swing and a regular swing out there too, hanging from the deck. The stars were amazing and we happened to be there for a meteor shower! You can see a large portion of the sky at this cabin because of the open meadow in front of it! We were pleasantly surprised with how close we were to Cedar Breaks National Monument (the North View Overlook, Alpine Pond Trail, etc.), and other kid-friendly hikes! It was all amazing!! Thank you for the memories!

Loved the decor, the preparation and thoughtful touches of things we actually needed. Had many cool places to hangout, loved the built in wall heaters they came in handy. The jukebox was a nice touch too. Truly a beautiful cabin that was made for families to get the real experience. Location is within walking distance of village so we loved it. Will love to come back again soon

Nice home in the mountains. Well equipped with nearly everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. Great location to access Brian Head and all the recreation available.

The house was clean and perfect for our big group. We loved the poker table and the juke box. The location was beautiful and had an amazing view. Management was timely, we loved our stay.

This home is as pretty as the photos! Although it was just my husband and I and our dog staying here during an off-season time, it's easy to see how this house would make a fantastic family/group vacation home, especially during ski season. The home has something for everyone between the hot tub, poker table, popcorn machine, and bar. The house is spacious with room to spread out but also has several lounge/gathering areas. The location is beautiful with large meadow views and mountains in the far distance. You will even have some friendly deer passing by on occasion. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked and ready to go for home-cooked meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Open Meadows Lodge!

Home was set up for a group which was nice. However Wifi didn't work, there was only a hotspot with no instructions which we figured out, but could only connect one device, so TVs could not be used and had leaks from melting snow come in through a bedroom window which leaked on a guest's bed. Called both 800 numbers, on hold for over 45 minutes, and sent an email to property management with NO response. Most disappointed in Vacasa.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Gregory. We are sorry to hear that you had a less than satisfactory stay and a negative experience with customer service. We passed your comments to the owner and maintenance for a resolution as well as a plan for repairs. We hope we can have another opportunity to impress you again in the future!

This cabin is in such a beautiful private location. We loved the different areas to play games or all watch our own movie. The hot tub is awesome. Also very nice and clean
