On the water and great view

Awesome room, awesome view, but if there are people in the unit above you, it'll sound like you're in a creaking ship being battered by a storm. And if they decide to turn on the TV at 5:30 a.m., you get to hear that all morning too. If you can, get an upper unit.

We loved staying there - such a beautiful spot with a lovely view - would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake more - thx!

It was a good place to stay. Not far from GNP

We had a great time! Loved time on the lake after a day of hiking in Glacier!

Although the apartment is kind of run-down we enjoyed our stay. The lake and the view from the deck is fantastic and the neighborhood is absolutely quiet. We weren't able to get the TV running, channel search for minutes and then nothing.
Manager Response:
Cable was inspected after this review was received and was found to be working correctly. The cable in the area does have occasional outages. If guests are unable to get an amenity working they are welcome to call us so we can assist them. Thanks!

We came for a girls weekend and the location and scenery were perfect! Great views and very close to downtown shopping and entertainment!

First of all the location is great. Right on the lake and within walking distance of downtown Whitefish. Also only 45 minutes to Glacier.
That being said there are a few things that were disappointing:
Because this is a downstairs unit and old, you can here every footstep the upstairs tenant takes. Not so good if they stay up late.
The bed mattress and pillows are in dire need of upgrading and are not at all comfortable.
The shower is tiny.
The laundry facilities are ina basement of a separate building and it's $4.00 a load.
We were not provided the correct code for the pool and had to get from another tenant despite texting the owner.
The back deck has a great view but is connected to all the other units and for some reason folks think it's ok to pass through your space even though there are stairs to the beach on either side.
Wouldn't recommend for any more than a couple with one or two small children.
Finally, it's hard to enjoy the back deck when the only chairs are the $5.99 resin chairs from Kmart in the 80s. Really?
We'll be back as we really loved Whitefish , just won't stay here.
Manager Response:
These condos were constructed with minimal soundproofing, and these lower units are smaller and therefore have shared laundry as there is no space for a private washer/dryer. We have checked the information provided for guests and verified the pool code provided is correct. The number provided in the condo for help is for our Guest Services line and must be dialed in as a phone call. Texting the number will not work. We have notified the owner of the comments regarding the furnishings. Thank you!

Bay Point used to be the prime location and resort on the lake. After also spending time at The Lodge, it's clear that Bay Point is no longer top notch. This is disappointing. My family used to rent a cabin (now townhouses) in the 70's/80's, and then owned a condo at Bay Point (14 C up) for many years. My grandmother wants to continue to come for the nostalgia. She may have decided after this trip that she doesn't need to stay at Bay Point anymore. That is unfortunate.

Perfect location, amazing view, bear in mind if people are staying above you hear everything
Andrew K. June 2017
Good place to stay within walking distance from downtown.

Enjoyed location and view from deck was very nice

The rental was clean and comfortable with great views of the lake from inside and on the deck. Great location, easy to access the water. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils.

On the down side, the shower was tiny and the shower head hung so low that it was a chore to shower. This is a downstairs unit and we could hear every step the people above took, as well as the sound of their tv. Yes, there's a hot tub and pool on site, but they close at 8 p.m.
