This location and home are quite literally perfect. It perfectly checked all of our boxes. Our favorites were the wood stove and having a nice fire going to warm us up late at night or early morning, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need to make delicious breakfasts, the yard was perfect for our pups to frolic in, we saw deer, the hot tub was nice too! We would definitely stay again.

This idyllic retreat just outside Bend is a great relaxing spot and a wonderful place to start your explorations of Central Oregon. The Hot Tub is the cherry on top! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, and lots of wood for the wood stove.

We loved how secluded this place felt surrounded by pine trees, but also how close it is to Bend and Tumalo. The dogs also absolutely loved the giant fenced yard.

This house was exactly what I needed to get away from the loud city hustle and bustle. It was very clean and was easy to make super cozy for the cold weather. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars was for the lack of curtains in the bedrooms especially the sliding door with access to the hot tub. There aren’t any neighbors close enough to where you don’t have privacy, but they would’ve been nice to have. Also the largest unit on the stove wasn’t working because it’s missing a knob. I used a large pan and it caused a slight inconvenience to use a smaller unit but nothing too crazy.
The house was well stocked with dishes, towels and plenty of firewood out back and fire starters inside to use the wood stove. The house stayed warm and additional space heaters were provided in each bedroom. I would definitely stay here again and am recommending it to all my friends wanting to spend some quiet time in Bend.
Manager response:
Hi, Dalila! Maintenance is order and installing the blinds right away. We apologize for the frustration you experienced and are glad to see you would still consider returning. Thank you for choosing Vacasa!

You will truly have a blast at this location, with the beautiful nature around you and the ease of getting to the city you are surely to find everything you need and want in Bend! The only detractor was the lack of blinds in the house, there was no place for privacy at all, the windows/Glassdoor in the bedrooms were wide open, along with almost all the windows in the living room. For some it might not be an issue but for us it was quite uncomfortable! Even the bathroom was wide open. Anyways, other than that it was great, super friendly easy to work with and they had all the things you could possibly need during your stay..if no blinds isn’t an issue for you I would say this will be a 5 out of 5!

A Gem in the Woods

The title says it all. Overall a great experience at a magical place on the outskirts of Bend. It is a new rental so there were a few teething pains (mostly minor things) but overall a cute cabin set in an expansive lot set amongst a grove of Ponderosa Pines. While not exactly a luxurious experience, nor is that the intention, it is a cute, rustic cabin in a beautiful setting. Great fenced-in yard for your pooch, close to the Tumalo food trucks, Tumalo falls and Shevlin Park. And just 10 minutes away from downtown Bend but yet feels like a world away. Vacasa staff was very responsive and the regional property manager (Matt) was super helpful. Great wood-burning fireplace, amazing hot-tub and comfy beds. They are still missing a few small knick-knacks and I have already passed on that feedback to them so hopefully in the near future everything will well stocked. But like I said, the beautiful location, cute cabin, expansive lot and scenic surrounding area make for a relaxing and wonderful stay.
