Had a good time house was nice to accommodate 3-4 people

The pictures on line look nothing like the house. The outside was nothing but weeds everywhere plus I had to cut away weeds from the front door just to go out that entrance as it had the least amount of steps. The outside wood steps we’re in very bad shape and lots of peeling paint the property really need some TLC . IT also had a very strong mold smell that lasted all 6 days even with a few window open. Beds we’re comfortable and living furniture was nice .
Manager response:
We are sorry to read you were disappointed, Daniel. The beautiful green and growing season is swiftly slowing down, and the landscaping company maintains the property according to the owner's request. The entrance to the home you mention is one the owners have asked we not use. There is an odor from the river running beneath the home, and we have a fan and dehumidifier system in place to help with this. Thank you!

Very enjoyable.

This is a lovely old home that has been beautifully updated. The waterfall is fantastic and makes a wonderful sound. We watched a flock of Canada geese land and take off from the pond. The hot tub was a treat at the end of our busy days. The back deck is very quiet and secluded despite the location on the busy route. Jorge, the manager, was responsive and helpful. As the weather warmed up, we noticed a very strong odor of mold throughout the house. We had to leave a day early as a result.
Manager response:
We apologize for the odor this guest experienced during their otherwise lovely stay. Our senior housekeeper went to the home and bleach treated entry areas in the basement where it looked as though moisture might be accumulating. The basement entry area has the typical New England musty smell, but this is the only area of the home that does. There is an air freshener in the basement, and we have been unable to notice any moisture or smells since this guest's departure. Thank you!

Pretty clutch location for a trip to Killington - about a 20-minute drive. Nice house with two large bedrooms - great for 2 couples. Large kitchen makes it easy to cook meals. Hot tube is a great way to end a day on the slopes!

We stayed here for a ski weekend. It took 20 minutes to get to Killington/Pico. The house is right on Rt 7, but it is very quiet inside the road traffic to be heard. There is a beautiful waterfall to view outside of the dining room area. The kitchen is a great size. The house is about 5-10 min away from shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Mold allergies beware! There is a mold issue in the basement, when you walk in... the main living area was fine, once we opened the windows for a few hours... the house just needed to be aired out.

I was a little worried when I saw the address was on main street but it is tucked away and you would never know once you're inside that it is near a main street. The backyard views from the kitchen/dining room are so calming. The home is nicely furnished with comfortable couches in the living room. We were amazed at how large the home was and wish we would have planned a trip with family to have the whole family stay with us! The kitchen is huge and great for entertaining and there are 2.5 baths which would make it easy to have 4+ people in the home! Would definitely recommend staying here.
