This bright canal front rental is situated in a quiet culdesac where it will bring you close to all the Sarasota excitement without sacrificing its peaceful atmosphere. The picturesque backyard is shaded with palm trees and offers a furnished lounge area perfect for catching up with your fellow travelers. A walk along the sand to the end of the property brings you to a dock that stretches out onto Whitaker Bayou, which has direct access to Sarasota Bay. Another excellent option for enjoying the Florida sunshine is the wraparound Cumaru wood deck with enough space for your whole group to carve out a private area.

I really liked the fact there was no carpeting since we have allergies. The location is great—less than a mile to Indian Shores beach.

While the location is nice and on the water, this place is not worth the high price tag and the Vacasa responsiveness was abysmal. Some low points: - no coffee maker - no hair dryer, but there’s one there now - sparse cooking pots and pans - no blankets, which was a big deal when it was 40 degrees for 3 nights - privacy/safety issue with a uncovered glass door that looks right into the bedroom, which we covered with a beach towel. - mini split unit in the living room doesn’t have heat so the concrete and cinder block house was freezing cold. We repeatedly asked the mgmt company Vacasa for help and nothing happened. At least a few days before we left a hair dryer was delivered. “All the comforts of home” is misleading at best.

Heather, we are so sorry to hear of the disappointing stay you had at our home. Our records show our local manager shipped a hair dryer and coffee maker to you during your stay. As for the other issues reported, they will be addressed by the property manager and owners. Space heaters and blankets can be added to help with cold nights, a window curtain/covering can be added to the front door for privacy, and more pots/pans/cooking utensils can be added as well. We hope we can have a second chance to host you for a much more enjoyable stay.
