Welcome to the Ocean Overlook Penthouse, a two-level condo that overlooks both the great Atlantic Ocean and the waters of the Back Bay. This newly decorated property features four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and a bright and open floor plan where you can make wonderful vacation memories.

The open kitchen is fully equipped with GE stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a new dining table, a granite breakfast bar, and even a breakfast nook table. Other at-home comforts include all-new smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms, free WiFi, a full-size washer/dryer in the laundry room, and an assortment of books, games, and toys for the younger travelers in your group.

The primary suite upstairs features a fully furnished sitting area, a secluded balcony, a smart TV, and an en suite bathroom with a granite walk-in shower and a separate jetted tub. The other three bedrooms, including two more primary suites, have their own smart TVs as well.

The Sanctuary offers wonderful on-site amenities, three outdoor pools (open mid-May to mid-September), Viking grills, and two fitness centers. Adjacent to the complex is the 400-foot fishing pier at Little Island Park, which also includes a children’s playground; tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts; and enough public parking for the unexpected visitor. Just down the road, you can explore Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which offers beach access and hiking trails galore.

Please note that there is extensive construction occurring in buildings A & B including elevator and roof replacement, exterior painting, and breezeway remediation. During this time, you may hear loud construction noise during your stay. All installations and upgrades should be concluded by June. While Sanctuary’s pools and the fitness center are scheduled to be open from Memorial Day Weekend through October 2nd, the condo association has the right to close the pools at any time due to weather or repairs. The Sanctuary hot tubs should open in the fall.

The home was very nice and just as described, however the service we received from Vacasa was terrible!!! When we arrived to pickup our keys, there was a note they were closing at 4:45. Our packet had a note on it that the main refrigerator was broken and could not be used. They stuck a very small top freezer in our unit and the previous tenants left a note on it that the door would not stay shut and you had to prop a chair in front of it. We had already purchased our groceries for 8 people and found this unacceptable. I immediately called Vacasa and was told someone would get right back to me.....when we arrived back home, there was a message on my home answering machine telling me the main refrigerator was not working.....alot of help that was! Second issue was you are only given two magnetic key cards for entrance to the building. One of our did not work. I made three calls to Vacasa to try to get this solved and was told they would mark the ticket as urgent and someone would call us right back.....nobody ever called. Wednesday morning we awoke to almost no water at all in the condo. Finally I had had enough and called and asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to Samantha and she was very helpful and got most of my issues resolved immediately. We should have been notified prior to arrival about the refrigerator since we had eight people in our unit. Vacasa is very quick to take your payment, but AWFUL at customer service. There was a note on our entry packet that if you have any problems, go to the Vacasa office at the front of Building B and someone would help you. There was NEVER anyone in that office!!!!! My husband had to ruin down to the main office three times the same day to finally get key cards that actually worked. Vacasa customer service is awful unless you get to speak to Samantha.
