Kapa’a Sands 22 is a two-story, two-bedroom condo that is located in an oceanfront property on Kauai’s east shore. There are only 24 retreats on this property built where a Shinto Shrine once stood. There is still a temple stone located on the property. Every retreat here is a corner unit featuring louvered windows on three sides that allow the tradewinds to cool you.

The fully equipped kitchen, living room with a queen Murphy bed, dining area, and half-bath complete the main floor. Two bedrooms with a king bed in one bedroom and two twins in the other are located upstairs along with a full bathroom. There are two lanais as well. One is on the main level off the living room. This can be a quiet place to dine or enjoy the view of the grounds and the ocean. The second lanai is off one of the bedrooms upstairs offering a quiet retreat to read.

A short stroll across the lawn and you will be at the edge of a white sand beach known for the occasional sighting of a rare Hawaiian Monk Seal. Kapa’a Sands is a special place for many travelers. Many have been visiting this resort for over 20 years and continue to return yearly to this ‘special place.’ Often, they state that the vintage Hawaiian charm brings them back over and over again.

Casual dining, shopping, and weekly farmer’s market are within walking distance, and water activities, snorkeling, and hiking are a five-minute drive away.
